The controller doesn't show the battery level properly. But this bike is phenomenal for the price.
I was new to ebikes and on a budget . I absolutely love this bike. I don't need to take it out of pedal assist 2 to climb a hill, and I leave it in 7th Gear all the time. Of course I had to get my legs a little stronger and would use the throttle probably for the first month off and on till I got stronger. I cannot say enough about the throttle on this bike. If you're sitting at the bottom of a hill and you have to climb without a throttle it's really hard to peddle up that hill. With throttle all I do is push the throttle and I'm off and running. It also propels you in pedal assist 2 to 14 or 15 miles an hour. Please keep that in mind as you're picking out bikes for multiple people to ride together. Because if they don't have that function on their bike, the person with it will leave the other one in the dust.... meaning it'll take them a while to catch up with you. You slow down to wait for someone to catch up , The minute you start Pedaling again it will bring you right back up to 14 miles an hour. So if you're a couple buying bikes to ride together , make sure you buy the same type of bikes. They do have a male and a female bike. But I'm much prefer the step-through function of this bike. If you're carrying a load on the back you'll be glad you don't have to kick your leg up over the top of things your carring aong on the back rack. I'm also extremely impressed with the customer service Representatives. I did have a little bit of a difficult time the controller doesn't function as it should. But they went out of their way to try to help me rectify the problem. They sent me another controller but it did the same thing. I bought another battery.. so I wouldn't have to worry about running the battery out while away from home. Pushing a 60 lb bike up a hill would not be fun. The representatives sent me a saddlebag free of charge, so I could carry the spare battery. They have compassion and did try to help me fix the problem. I don't believe the controller is designed to give accurate battery storage. When the battery is dead, I still show three bars on the controller. I'll eventually look for a battery level indicator to add to this bike. The price is so much cheaper than anything else for the quality. I plan to do a video once it warms up a little bit... I believe you'll be impressed too.

Looks Awesome. Moves Fast! Sturdy Construction
When my car broke down and I needed a quick bike to get me through my daily 40 mile commute, via street and train, this Ebike did NOT disappoint me. I haven't run the battery down yet. I did ride it 20 miles and had two bars left on the battery. That's done by varying your speed and coasting a lot. I've gotten it up to 32mph. You can't go long distances like 20 miles at that speed. You WILL drain the battery. Highest speeds are for short distances. It's a heavy bike, due to the motor. Peddling without the motor on is hard for me. If you have great legs, maybe that'll be a easy. I recommend conserving the battery or have a backup battery. Customer service is great. When a piece needed replacing, they were very communicative and accommodating. The bike is sturdy and takes the punishment of Los Angeles' rough streets, and uneven sidewalks. It fits in the bike space on the Metro trains. Make sure to tighten all screws, as they could loosen when you're off and riding. 4 stars for some of the screws that came with it. Also the constant removal of battery for indoor charging can put strain on the battery housing. Lost another screw there. Customer Service will help.

I like this bike!
This ebike has zip! It is a cadense sensor as opposed to a torque sensor. That means when it is in Level 1 assist, as soon as you begin to pedal the bike takes you up to 8mph, Level 2 is about 14 mph and there are 5 levels of assist up to about 30mph. The throttle will move you along as well with no pedaling needed if you desire. The wide 3 inch tires give you street stability and the built in lights front and back are great. 7 speed Shimano shift works well. The battery is heavy ( just over 9 pounds I think) and you can charge it on or off the bike. This bike folds for easy transport or storage in smaller areas. Although it is manufactured in China, it shipped from a warehouse in California. Here is the best part - After I rode several times and depleted the battery = it would not take a charge. I emailed the company and they promised to send a replacement, but it had to come from China. It did take about 8 days or so, but the important part is they DID send a replacement as promised. Nice to have a company stand behind their product while under warranty. I really enjoy riding this bike and would recommend it for purchase. 750 watt hub motor, this bike is well worth the price with all these features.

JUNK!!!
I thought I did my research and made a good purchase. I was proven wrong. The bike arrived scratched, dented, bent and just about every shape you can think of except in New condition. I requested a refund or exchange but was hit with a 400 dollar bill to do so which is completely against Amazon policy. After weeks. Yes I mean many weeks of going back and forth they finally sent replacement parts and then expected me to repair a bike I just spent a bunch of money on. Now after all said and done the brakes don’t work. The brake rotor is bent and the power supply is already acting up. I took it to the local bike shop which out of 10 shops was the only one willing to even look at it and their review of the bike is CHEAP, POOR PARTS and a POS. buy what you want but I would not put this bike on your list. Just trash.
