ARNDT Poultry Hens Food trough Automatic feeder 50 x 10 cm

My feathery cluckers get on fine with this. Previously they had a large bowl but due to their natural desire to scratch the ground looking for food they kept tipping it over and leaving food all over the grass. They can't do that with this. The wire top is hinged, so you just flip it open to fill up - no need to pour the food in over those little bars. It is aluminium and as you can see raised off the ground by about an inch or so, so very easy to keep clean. Much better than a plastic one which in my experience deteriorates over time due to the weather. All in all, a good purchase. Should have got one years ago instead of a stupid dustpan and brush to gather up all those wasted food pellets. Duh.

Bought plastic feeders originally but hens not struck so bought this one. Hens used it immediately and are eating well from it.I have 4 hens and there is plenty of room for them all and for lots of food.Something else I would buy again.

we have 11 hens and with this they all have a fair chance of getting corn or treats in the afternoon. we have one very old hen who we think now has poor sight, and she is now able to get to the food before someone else takes it from under her nose. happy hens

Smaller than expected and hardly off the floor. It’s okay but bit pointless.
