I use this every day. It's like a thermos. I can take my time drinking my coffee and it still stays warm. I hate cold or lukewarm coffee. The only downside is it doesn't fit in most car cupholders.

First review, but I have purchased a number of these over the last couple of years -- and use one daily at work. Great mug, strong insulation, tremendous colors, and is very well made. The lid fits well, and the slider provides great access when you want a sip and prevents escape when you don't. This tropical pink color is a real showstopper, though the same could be said of the many other colors. It makes a fantastic gift -- as I have given away many of these, and they are always well received (and well used). The one drawback here would be price -- so catching a sale might be a better way to go (as they are typically $5-$10 higher priced than I imagine they should be).

This is a well-made, bomb-proof mug. My only critique (and one that is common with other review sites) is that it's a bit big and heavy. I tend to switch between using the handle and grabbing it like a tumbler, and the larger diameter of this mug is at the limit of what I can securely hold without using the handle. The MiiR 16 oz camp cup (which I also own) is a good option for a lighter, narrower mug that also holds a few more ounces of liquid, however, the MiiR handle is thinner and less comfortable to hold, and I prefer the smooth metallic finish on the Yeti (stainless steel and graphite versions).The thermal performance of the Yeti mug is good. Other review sites give it poor marks for insulation, but I find that it keeps 12 oz of coffee plenty hot for how long it takes me to drink it. To put some objectivity to the temperature claims, I tested it against one of the lightest (and most expensive) options in the Titanium Stay-Hot mug by Stanley and the temperature drops were comparable (a graph of the measurements is attached).As a final note, the pictures in the Amazon listing are a bit misleading with regard to the Yeti logo. The all-metallic mugs (SS and graphite) are shown with an embossed Yeti logo near the base of the mug, while the colored mugs are shown with an imprinted logo; however, this is only due to the all-metallic mugs being shown in a left-handed orientation while the colored mugs are shown in a right-handed orientation, i.e., there is a different logo on each side of the mug for all versions.

It just a real good cup for my coffee and keep it hot.

This mug looks and feels great. It has a wide flat bottom that is very stable. It keeps the temprature of the liquid within for a long time if the lid is on. It leaks if tipped over but only a little due in part to how the closing clip is made. It uses magnets to hold it in place, this makes it easy to clean and care for but not leak proof. Again, this is a great mug!
