Phomemo D30 Label Maker Bluetooth Wireless Portable Thermal Printer

What can I say, for £15 what a fantastic little printer. Does exactly what it was made to do. Within 5 minutes of opening the box i was printing labels 🏷 with clear crisp text and images. Just what I needed for my action cameras. I can now tell within seconds of picking the camera up where on my bike it belongs. The labels look and feel waterproof. Only time will tell on the longevity of the labels and the print but I think they will be fine. All for a fantastic price. Well impressed 👏

Bought it 2 years ago. Worked flawlessly. Won’t hesitate in buying again if it breaks given the price and the amount I’ve used it.

The label maker works well and provides plenty of value for money in the price range. The labels appear to be of good quality and the app support, the ability to recognize the label type by QR scan, etc., bring even more ease of use and value into your pocket. The labels appear to stick well and be water-resistant (I did not actually get to check how they will stand the test of time as this is a recent purchase). The instruction manual was a bit unclear and the printer does not appear to rewind the tape to the proper beginning of the label, but I figured the way to properly match it (through trial and error, hence the "arden Hose" labels in the first image) - the tear of the label has to be positioned just before the round indentation where the label should start to bend - see the second photo. Otherwise - easy and fun to use, has plenty of charge and is small enough to fit in your pocket, together with your phone. As for the real cons so far - the instruction manual and the QRcode on the printer point to an unofficial application - do not install it, instead search for the version on Google Play Store - safer and more supported this way. EDIT - tried to use the labels on pvc pipes - they become unstuck - have to reinforce with clear tape. Other than this point the review still stands

Fantastic little labeler great for customisation

Really simple to use, together with Phomemo Printmaster app. I have been labelling EVERYTHING. Most recently for plant labels. I tidied all my tech cables away in storage boxes and labelled them. Nice range of different labels. I have to admit I have 4 Phomemo label printers now. I use them all for different applications. Their support is excellent too.

Good product

Amazing, just what o needed for labelling spices, usb leads and perfect for when freezing meals to label the food correctly and date items! Comes with a nice collection of clip art but as ever there is an extended range of willing to subscribe but I’ve managed without! It really is superb, no home or office should be without one and at something like a penny a label they’re cheap enough to dispose of on everyday consumables etc! Kids and adults alike will love it and find multiple uses. Connectivity from phone app to the device is quick and easy and it’s small and lightweight enough to take on any travels! We use multiple keycards in hotel rooms and they all look identical so for the few days stay we are able to label which is our room, which is parents etc so it takes the confusion away there! Buy one! You’ll not regret it!

… for three weeks, then stopped! Happy with the labels it produced while it was working, but am now halfway through a job I can’t finish, and left with extra rolls of tape I can’t use, so it’s being returned today. Not sure why it stopped working as it was always charged slowly on a standard 5v adapter as advised, but now doesn’t charge at all or switch on. Disappointed.

Great little label maker. Especially nice when used with holographic labels

Sending kids to camp is always an adventure. Usually we’re lucky if they come home with someone else’s stuff, never mind their own. This year I decided to get ahead of the problem and label everything in advance—even their toothbrushes. After looking around Amazon, I was overwhelmed by the number of label makers available. After comparing them back and forth for a while, I narrowed it down to the Phomemo label maker. First, I liked the look of it—it just stood out from the rest. At the same time, I was a little nervous because of the price. Compared to some of the much more expensive models, I wondered if it would be missing features or feel cheap. Boy, was I wrong. From the moment I opened the box, it was clear this was a quality product. Setup with my iPad was quick and easy, and the app connected without any issues. The app seems to have a million options—far more than I’ll probably ever use—but there’s also a simple print option that lets you get started right away. The label maker feels solid, doesn’t have that made-in-China smell that some products have, and the print quality is better than I expected. There also seem to be more fonts available than Microsoft Word offers, which is pretty impressive. Since it’s thermal, there’s no ink to buy or replace. Overall, I’m really happy with it. It looks great, works well, and offers plenty of features without the higher price tag. Now I’m just hoping all this labeling means my kids come home from camp this year with at least some of their own stuff. If that happens, the Phomemo may end up paying for itself.

I don’t know how I survived without one. One of my beef was I couldn’t find a reliable way to label items going into the freezer, the labels always fell off. This makes labels that do well in the freezer and in hot weather too. The software took a bit to master and I have to say the adds to buy additional fonts and designs. I need plain and simple and that’s what I get so I don’t get frustrated with the little offers. This is an excellent product and I recommend it to anyone.
