I've used my Plantronics Voyager headset for several ears. I didn't realize I had a problem until I had a co-worker ask if I'd had that looked at by a doctor. Had what looked at by a doctor? That black spot on your neck. Come to find out it was blacks specks from my ear cushions. After awhile that black fabric starts to disintegrate. Black specks were sticking to the sides of my face and on my neck. Fortunately, there are these ear cushion covers that you can buy. I did, and the process was super easy to replace. Now my Voyager headset looks brand new - and my co-workers are resting easy about my health.

I honestly thought I was going to rip these putting them on but the fit and size was identical and they fit like a glove. We do miss not having the left and right labels on them like the original covers. Some instructions to remove and install them would have been great. Especially tips on how to put them on, (especially specially if you have big hands). They weren’t terrible to install, so don’t let that deter you, they do feel as good as the original. 4 stars because of now instructions and not being labeled left and right like the original.

Factory earpads failed after less than 2 years of use on a $100 phone system headset.Replacement pads went on over the factory foam after a little bit of coaxing.Feel fine and work as intended.

Just put these on today, fits like it should. Hopefully they last for awhile without peeling

I got the Voyager Focus UC 2 about two years back, and unfortunately, if you use it several hours per day, the earpads covers start to disintegrate. After a while one gets annoyed with black pieces falling off the cover.The headphones are great and throwing them away just because of that seemed to be foolish. The web came to help, and I realized that I’m not the only one with the problem. And more importantly, I realized that there is a solution – get new covers.My suggestion is to remove the existing falling apart covers to learn how to remove (and put back in reverse order), and more importantly is to check on the state of the sponge/foam which is held by glue.In my case the foam was intact and the only item to get were the ear pad covering. These covers are thin, stretchable (so you can fit back in the original groove and are perforated for the sound. They look the same as the OEMs. Function wise, I can’t tell any difference. They saved my expensive over the ear headphones.

My Plantronics Voyager Focus UC headset ear pad covers have been falling apart and leaving black specs in and on my ears for months. These replacement covers were super easy to install and made my headset look and feel like new. Now if only there was an easy way to change the battery...If your headset is still working good and your ear pad covers are shot, I would highly recommend these replacements pads.
