Decent Book
I see a lot of people hate in this book and get it. I however read the reviews and knew what I was ordering. The book gives a brief but informative view of Viking culture. For the price it canβt be beat. There are some spelling and grammatical errors, which for me to notice means they are pretty glaring lol. I would recommend this book to someone interested in first learning about Vikings. Itβs definitely a good book for later year elementary kid and middle schoolers.

Nice!!!
It's a good book for a introduction to Norse mythology. Simple and clear,it is very easy to understand, although it could have a few more pages to specify some things here and there, but hey,it's just my opinion!!

Good overview of Viking culture.
Dale Hansen does a great job of succinctly introducing us to the many different aspects of Medieval Viking culture. I was expecting a longer book, but that's what I get for not checking the page count first! Still, I felt most of the subjects could have used more detail. I found myself constantly writing down questions to research later because the book moves so quickly. It is great for an introduction or quick-reference; otherwise, I have trouble deciding on a purpose for something so short. Clearly, this was well researched, so why not go the extra mile and give readers more to chew on? This was the reason I could not give 5 stars. However, I found the content fascinating and it should prove a great starting point for fueling anyone's hunger for immersion in Viking lore.

Thinner than expected, but good quality overall
The book came and was as expected. It was thinner than I expected and skimming through the pages, it gives a brief paragraph or two on the subject. For the price of the book it is worth it to buy the book

Great Intro into Norse Mythology
Great into into Norse Mythology. My only minor criticism were some grammar/spelling errors and I wanted more "tales" from the era. Overall, it was a great introduction and didn't take long to get though which was nice.

Has Potential.
This has the potential to be a great primer on Norse Mythology. As such, it's not quite there yet. The book definitely needs an editor to go though it, mostly for grammar and some misspellings. At times, the author could definitely add more information. When talking about Odin's eight legged horse, he mentions that the horse is Loki's offspring. He doesn't mention that the horses name is Sleipnir.More information and an pass by an experienced editor would make this a wonderful primer on Nose Myth.

Not that great.
This book isn't too informative, it kind of briefly skims through alot of different topics and I've noticed a few spelling/printing errors.

Rather a skinny book. I expected more to be written about the Aesir and Vanir and the norse myths. Would recommened for someone who just wants a rough idea on the Norse gods.
