It is nice to handle
This is a nice product which we have used to 'rodent-proof' some holes in walls as rodents don't like it. It can be made into a ball-shape easily, is pleasant to handle and will not rust or degrade if it gets wet, unlike steel wool. Compared with other options such as stainless stell mesh, which can be sharp and injury-prone once cut to size, copper mesh can be cut with ease without any sharp edges to cause injury. The only reservation is that it is quite expensive so best for filling small holes as the 6 metre roll doesn’t go far and it would be expensive to use it to 'rodent-proof' large areas.

Easy to use , good quality , functional and value for money.
My reason for purchasing this copper mesh is to use as a snail & slug defender . I have recently purchased a garden VEG TRUG and although it is raised some distance from the ground we know our friends will work their way up. I have used the copper strips before and to be honest , I have not found it that successful in deterring the likes of slugs and snails however my logic this time is should they get as far as this copper mesh a) its a few inches wide plus b) its has a texture to it so hopefully it will do the job. If at the end of the day we have a Ninja snail that gets through this deterrent then the deserve a free lunch ! Easy to use , good quality , functional and value for money.

Not good
Doesn’t do anything

Very thin but quite a bit of it
It did the job - I was told it is better and longer lasting for deterring mice

Hosta Protection
We are using this to create a scarf around our hostas and it’s working a treat

Doesn't work
This did absolutely nothing to delete rats!! They just chew it out. Not strong enough, thin and flimsy.
