good quality just wish they were a little brighter and the remote controlled both candles at the same time

I especially like the choice of 4 or 8 hour timeron this Candle set-These candles require 2 C batteries-which is great because these Candles will not require replacing as often as AA batteries!Highly recommend these Candles🤗

First of all, the picture's misleading-- You see 2 candles? You only get one. Fooled me. They should have said very clearly in the description that you're only buying ONE candle. 2 candles for $6-ish is a great deal. 1 for that price is merely OK. Back to that later...The good-- It's a good 4-star Flameless Candle at a reasonable price. I like the 4hr/8hr timer. I like the use of 2 C batteries-- not included-- they last longer. It looks fairly realistic when it's lit, especially from 6' away or more. The flickering of the light output is fairly realistic and the irregularity in the silhouette of the light that transmits through the sides of the candle helps the effect.The less good-- When the candle is not lit, it looks very fake-- from close, from far away, it's a little too glossy and regular shaped. Also, back to the misleading picture, notice how the picture has a soft focus-- it makes the plastic seem more wax-like; I was guessing that it might be resin, but, no, it's a thin, hard-shelled plastic. That's fair-- they did say "plastic"-- but it detracts from the realism. The sides have sort of a semigloss look to them-- almost wax-like. The top interior (where the "flame" is), however, is very glossy, and very hemispheric; so if you're looking down on it from a few feet away, it spoils the candle illusion (especially if it's not lit).Overall, it has some nice features, it's not a bad for the price, but not as realistic as some other flameless candles.

I do like to have the remote to change settings but I am a bit worried how long the remote will work as it seems cheap.

If you want timer, DO NOT GET REMOTE VERSION.This company ripped me off. I finally figured out why 2 candles were duds. They wouldn't accept my return!They sell 2 packs. These come with a remote and candles with ir sensor.They sell single candles, SOME HAVE IR SENSOR SOME DON'T. <-This is where I got ripped off. These ARE great candles and I use them everyday, but they wouldnt accept my return because:A standard TV remote sometimes controls the candles. It was my TV remote, for my regular Roku TV. Try it: Channel UP\DOWN= Candle Off\On.I lost 2 candles trying to figure this out.

These are definitely not worth the money. Please select other candles. These are cheaply made.

I purchased this candle, in a set of four first. I needed a couple more, so I ended up ordering a single one, two different times. I like that you can buy them singly or in groups, to suit your needs. These candles are great, because they run on C batteries, ( unlike others that take A or AA batteries), so if you only put them on the four hour timer, they will work for a long time, without having to change the batteries. They are a plastic material, and do not have any form of wax on them, so they can be used outside, as well as inside. Also, I like the option to put them on either an 8 hour or 4 hour timer. These have more of a light yellow or white glow, unlike some of the timer candles, I have gotten from other companies, that had a more amber glow. You won't be disappointed with these. Give them a try.

Easy to use and looks great.

I ordered these candles to be used outside in subzero weather in my ice candles. A great price for 6 candles and the use of a timer and remote is a great feature. The only thing I didn't like about these candles is when they are lit the light only covers the top half of the candle instead of the full length. This diminishes some of the light needed to make my ice candles really show.

Ideal purchase, arrived promptly and securely packaged. I decorate these with ribbon they have an attractive light and are safer than real candles and timer of 4hr or 8 hr is good idea also ideal at Christmas as part of table decoration.

I cannot praise these candles to highly. After accidentally setting fire to my hair (yes, truly!) with an IKEA candle in a glass. It wasn't IKEA's fault, just a moment of thoughtlessness.The DFL Candles look exactly like the real thing: they fooled my husband who muttered about fire risk and the aforementioned accident. I assured him that they were artificial, he gave me a look. I invited him to hover his hand over the top. Would you believe it: I had to pull the batteries out to prove they were artificial!The Candles have a timer that runs for 4 hours or 8 hours, they give a gentle realistic flicker and look for all the world like small church candles that have burnt for a few hours. I've used two for a few months burning on the Max time every night. The light is less intrusive than a plug in night light, but sufficient to enable me to safely let my Dog outside etc without losing my night vision.The candles use two C batteries: these are available quite reasonably priced from Amazon at £10 for 10 and fast free delivery.I don't have a financial interest in either Amazon Seller, both of them just have excellent, value for money products.

Very obviously plastic - not like the wax effect ones you can get, but do what they are supposed to.
