Absolutely happy with purchase, luckily I’m a mechanic and was able to mount to rack. My rack was not compatible with brackets that came with this product but fabrication is part of my job and made it happen. It would have been possible with purchase of another product for rack. But didn’t have time to order and wait. Back to awning, it’s great well made materials are good quality. Very happy will get lots of use. Easy to set up. Easy to put away. Cost wise if it had been any higher in price I would not of gave it a second look, of coarse we all want things cheaper but it’s affordable and the material and ease of use makes it a good buy. So far it’s been very durable. We’ve been out it high winds and days of rain. Held up very well no signs of wear. I’d definitely recommend.

This is well made and has worked very well on an overlanding trip and a camping trip we did fairly recently. It is on the small side but if weight is a concern, this is a good compromise. Setup and take down is quick and easy and it is nice that they included as many tent cords as they did to secure it, if needed. The only thing I added was some small load rated carabiners to make installation and removal of the tent lines faster and easier. We did have some wind on the first trip and the awning barely even moved. So, it is a well made awning.

I was pretty surprised by the quality, since the price was so low. It fit my bed rack pretty much perfect, and the coverage for this small awning is very surprising. It deploys ultra fast and stows just the same.

The product arrived on time as promised. Packaging in heavy duty cardboard with straps on the outside and addition padding inside. Installation was self explanatory but did have to run to Home Depot for four slightly smaller bolts to fit my particular rack. Subtracting time for rearranging gear on my rack this was a 30 minute install. Deploying and storing is very easy and takes a couple minutes. Construction and quality seems very good though I would not leave this upon gusty winds and will definitely tie it down on breezy days. The built in leg supports are a nice feature. I did not get the extra long one as I wanted it to match the length of my truck bed and topper. The shade value is good but the overall shade area is not that big. Not a ding on the canopy or OVS just something to keep in mind as you are shopping. Be interesting to see how much I use it and how well it holds up. But overall I'm very satisfied

Quality piece but way to small to be useful in my situation

Honestly for the price I got it for ($340) you can’t beat it. Fits fine on my Sherpa rack. I ordered some of the same little mounting things that fit in the rails and picked up some bolts and after that it fit great! Driven a few thousand miles with it now, and it’s held up great, even in rain (when stored), no water really gets in. Attaching the tie downs seems to be a bit of a pain though, along with folding it back up.

I really love this. The brackets are pretty basic and I had to use alternatives. I’ve heard that a lot about this design, but it’s still worth the purchase. It wasn’t a hassle to connect and once it was, I fell in love.

You can't go wrong with OVS, their stuff is top-notch. Super light weight, but very strong. Looks great paired with the same colour combo Nomad 3 OVS RTT. Get the walls too, you won't be disappointed. Great value in the whole set up. Packs away easily and can freestand on its own without the legs down. Stick some low profile USB string LED's to the horizontal bars for the cozy night time camp vibes.

Bolted this onto my 2006 Tacoma 4x4. Deployed in like 10 seconds, plus strap time to hold it tight, so another 20 seconds. Great material and seems to be very well made. After my next Overlanding trip I'll report back with any issues. This 270 is a bit smaller than it's larger cousin, but will keep the rain and sun off nicely I'm sure. Can deploy it along side my RTT at the same time both on the passenger side, but I also have a long box truck. RTT is on the front over cab.

Easy to install sets up quickly. Works wonderfully on the jeep jlu.

This past weekend was our first time out with it. It created shade for us and our dogs! Looking forward to using it more!
