Uncovery: A New Understanding Behind Radical Freedom from Eating Disorders and Depression

Beautiful book full of wisdom written in a grounded and easy to understand manner; thank you Amanda
I appreciated reading about Amanda's personal journey as well as her gift at conveying the wisdom of the three principles as they relate to change and releasing of negative habits including depression and ED's. Since reading I am feeling more relaxed about the 'habit releasing' journey as I now see that becoming tense and 'trying hard' to 'overcome my habits' are innocently sticking them in place. I have felt a peace in being pointed to the notion that I am well by design and that the more I'm able to see that the urge to engage in my habit is an alarm clock signalling that I've innocently got caught up in some habitual thinking and remembering I don't have to DO anything because the urge and thought will pass by itself. I've rated this five stars because I personally enjoyed reading it. I can also understand how some people (myself included at times!) may be left with a sense of 'well how do I GET an insight that will help me release my depression /ED?' but what I enjoyed about this book is that it's an invitation to allow our natural recovery rather than forcing or 'how to' ing' it. I do still sometimes get caught up in eating patterns I'd rather I didn't, and to feel low at times, but as I'm feeling more relaxed about it all in general, I'm finding the experiences to be shorter lived. Thank you for writing this book Amanda.

My new favourite 3 principles book!
"Uncovery" is what it says on the tin, when you read it you get a real sense of rediscovering the 3 principles understanding in a deeper way. If this is your first time hearing about the principles, this is the perfect introduction. For me, as someone who has been around them for a little while, this was the tonic I needed to remind me that everything is ok and will always be ok! I felt I was being led by the hand through the authors own personal journey, benefiting from her honest and sometimes raw account of her own challenges. I particularly enjoyed reading about the progression of her clients in the second part of the book. Amanda`s wisdom and insights have provided me with hope and a sense of knowing that there is another way to uncover that inner peace for all of us. Best of all, there is nothing to do! I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone new to the 3 principles, 3 principle veterans or anyone struggling to see a way through. If you are looking for inspiration, this is it! I loved reading it and hope we get to read more from Amanda Jones in the very near future.

It is now one of my favourite books on the subject
This book is explains so clearly a new paradigm in psychology called The Three Principles. It is now one of my favourite books on the subject. It says that it is for eating disorders and depression but I truly believe everyone would benefit from reading this book. The author clearly explains how we experience life via our thinking and what thought is. Each chapter is insightful and easily understandable. I highly recommend this book if you want to find out how to be free from any mental health issue. This book could easily change your life for the better.

I love the simplicity of the book around which it seems ...
A calmness unfolds within you as you progress through the Chapters of Amanda's book which introduces the 3 Principles and by sharing her own and her clients experiences Amanda points us towards uncovery from food addiction, anxiety and depression. I love the simplicity of the book around which it seems to the sufferer a very complex habit which has always up until now had so many 'things to do and practice' to recover. So much less to do than we think , a beautiful read
