Tedious af but the price can’t be beat.
Used it for overhead predator protection for my duck coop. I doubled it up and it’s holding up really well. Because fallen pine needles get stuck in it, the predator birds can see it and haven’t even attempted to snatch up my ducklings. Not gonna lie.. it’s a pain in the butt to work with. If you’re willing to to go through the frustration of trying not to let it touch the ground while installing it, you’ll be happy with it.

Do not lay on pond, does not float.
Nets ok but don't lay on pond will sink and catch fish and what ever else in there. It will break if pull hard enough, but you gonna have to really try to break it through. Used it as bird bet and you will be ok.

Birds get stuck in the holes!!
Light weight? Yes. Durable? Somewhat, considering that it was only made of a thick sewing thread. Easy to use? Somewhat, snagged on everything. DO NOT BUY THIS TO KEEP BIRDS OUT. THE BIRDS GET STUCK IN THE HOLES!!! Very disappointing. We put the net up in the evening. The next morning we watched the net to see how it worked. When the birds came to feed on the blueberry bushes, they landed on the net, Stuck their heads through a hole, and proceeded to get their wings and feet tangled. They were hanging upside down squawking and fluttering everywhere. Within minutes there were 10-15 birds stuck. Half of them managed to free themselves. There were seven birds that we had to untangle and cut out from the net. Would they have learned not to do it again? Probably not. We ripped the net down, threw it in the trash, and are out $80. Bought new half inch netting. It is more durable as it’s made of nylon or plastic or something of that nature, snags less, and the birds definitely cannot fit through the half inch gaps. Maybe this net would be good for another use, but definitely do not buy it for birds.

So far so good
Well with any netting it was quite a task putting it up to cover our chickens yard. I caught myself, my husbands hat numerous times, and 3 chickens. Yes I’m sure it was a site to see. It’s up and so far so good. We have a 10 foot center pole with 7 foot fencing. So far it has kept the lil escape artists who have no regard to clipped wing in. The true test will be the hawk who attacked a week ago. He was flying overhead but I think at the very least he knows not to mess with the net. The even bigger test…..winter…..snow….

Product description; "{Heavy Duty}". It is to laugh.
"Chintzy and deadly for birds" it should read. I tore it on a dandelion! Shooting the birds would have been more humane. Instead, a group of Waxwings and two Robins were asphyxiated and/or died of heat stroke while tangled in one days use of it. This netting is an ecological travesty and its use should be banned. I will burn it. Not a surprise to me it is Chinese made. I wasn't allowed to leave less than one star.
