Dual zone a big plus!
Have been using both at home as a chest freezer and in the RV as a secondary for mostly refrigeration. The fact that both zone's can be set separate or the same allows us a ton of flexibility. The weight profile isnt so much that it can be moved easily and safely with two people and it's taken a beating for sure. I was able to integrate it directly with my beloved rambler's 12V system and it's efficient enough that it's not a major strain on my power banks. The thing is super insulated so it maintains temp incredibly well and due to the physics of a chest verses a standup it is more efficient overall.

Three month review
I've had this refrigerator/freezer for a few months now in constant use. I plugged it into a 110 outlet in my garage and have used it as a freezer. Everything works as expected. The interior is easy to clean and the metal grates make it easy to keep things organized. The Bluetooth and app work well to monitor and change temp if necessary. It has held temperature properly for a few months straight. I like the handles on the sides that make it easy to carry. If full, it will take two people but is nice to have the handles there. The fabric bag isn't super great but it does fit and protect the unit. The pouches on the bag work well for storing cords and other items.

Great cooler, three power options
I used this as an extra freezer, but can be used for either refrigeration or freezing, as it's great at either one. It keeps things ice cold, especially in freezing.I love the front panel display where it shows the current temp (it can be set to F or C), and you have controls to adjust it. I also love the app for monitoring and adjusting it, using Bluetooth. The capacity is great, as I was able to put a few boxes of food in there, with room to spare.Unfortunately, this doesn't fit under my tonneau cover for my Rivian R1T, but I still love it.It's very high quality construction, and is one of the nicest powered coolers I've ever had. I love the hinges and latches, which are spring loaded. The cooler can be powered by either 12v lighter plug, 120AC plug, or it works with Goal Zero's battery packs , so it's got great versatility.

Absolutely love it
I love the build quality of this cooler, it has dual compartments each with their own temperature control that work really well as a freezer or a fridge. It seems really energy efficient, my vehicle can power it for the most part. For a portable fridge/freezer, it's a little pricy, but, it's relatively light weight and it comes with an insulation cover as well.

Tremendously useful!
We do a lot of tent camping, usually for a week or two at a time, and access to cold food can be difficult. We got this freezer/fridge initially to use in the car, going to or from, as we cross several states, but we discovered that this was such a nice unit, that we will be getting a power station for it. Our camping neighbor loaned us his power station for a couple of days, so we tried it out, and it was great! It kept our drinks and produce ice cold, and when we tried it on freeze, it held our ice cream on solid. Shoulda had one of these years ago! Easy to move around, surprisingly light (maybe 50 lbs?) and a convenient size. Good value!

Nice idea… if it worked
Plugged it in and smoke came out of it. Immediately disconnected it and we could smell burnt/melted plastic. This one got past QC somehow. It looks really nice. Seems to be durable and not really heavy. Easy to carry when empty. I’m sure two people will be needed if it’s full.

Smaller than it looks! Awesome!
This is a wonderful freezer/cooler, but it's definitely smaller than I imagined (which is fine). Amazon delivered it off a big-box truck with a lift gate using two big guys and a dolly, so I was initially worried about the size for camping. Fortunately, most of that box is styrofoam and air to protect it for shipping. So by the time you get it unboxed, you've got a cooler that is of manageable size. It cooled down just fine and linked up with the app no problem. The next question I have is how much energy it takes to run on a camping trip and how big a solar cell to purchase for it.

Amazing!!
The Goal Zero Alta portable fridge/freezer is a game-changer for family outings. With a 53-liter capacity, it provides ample space for food and drinks, keeping everything cool and fresh. The dual fridge/freezer option offers versatility, allowing us to store perishables without worry. It’s compact yet spacious, making it easy to transport for road trips or camping. The energy efficient design pairs well with a solar generator, ensuring power on the go. A truly convenient and reliable product with a LG compressor.
