I previously tried another otoscope which needed Wi-Fi but gave up trying to get the thing to connect properly. Then I saw this one but it looked as though it only came with type c connection. However, one review showed that it came with a lightning adapter so I decided to order one. I’m glad I did. It works perfectly with my iPhone 12. Why in earth doesn’t the seller make it clear that the adapter is included?I have a serious hearing problem and keeping a check on the amount of wax present it very important. This is perfect for me. I haven’t tried removing wax yet. I will try to pluck up the courage to do that later. At the moment the device shows that there isn’t much to worry about.

This is one of that products which until you use it you do not realise how cool it is. I always have irritation in my ears and carefully use earbuds to clean my ears after every bath. I always thought that I have plenty of wax in my ear however after checking it through the camera myself I was astonished that my ears are quite clean however I do have more than normal hair growth inside which is probably causing the irritation.Overall a good product to have at home to use on yourself or others including kids.⭐️ I do hope this review helped you.

This ScopeAround Otoscope Ear Camera is an odd thing to own but in a way is fun to use.I got this just because I was curious to see inside my ear. The image quality is very good and it allows you to take pictures on your phone. I guess with how the technological world is this could come in handy if you're like me and cannot get into see a GP unless you send evidence you're ill. Being able to send pictures of potential ear infections could be useful.The tools that come with it to attach to help clear out wax are rather meh, they obscure the camera too much so you end up going in blind which I do not recommend with ear cleaning. I've used the camera to take a look and if I feel I have a lot of wax build up I just go to a professional for a good clean.

This otoscope has been very helpful for checking my daughter's ear after an ear infection. It has allowed me to monitor the progress of removing the post infection earwax build up, which has been useful despite the small size of her ear canal.The image quality is good and matches the product description. The light can get quite hot with extended use, but the included silicone protectors help address this.Connecting the otoscope to my smartphone was straightforward, and the instructions were clear. I also appreciate the spare ear protectors and wax removal tool that came with the device.Overall, I recommend this ear otoscope camera as a practical tool for examining ears. Just be mindful of the heat buildup during prolonged use. The wired connection and reasonable price make this a worthwhile addition to a household medical kit.

I have had something similar in the past but needed WIFI and this otoscope doesn't.It is a 'plug and play' using your phone or tablet.It has 2 different USB adapters, one USB-C for Android and other phones, and a lightning adapter for iPhone.I have a Galaxy S21+ running the latest version of Android for this phone and I plugged the otoscope in... Nothing.Read through the instructions looking for a 'app' or possibly a QR code?Nothing.No pop up, no prompts. Didn't take effect when opening the camera.So I was disappointed to say the least.My daughter has an iPhone 12 Pro Max.Placed the lightning adapter on the end of the otoscope and plugged it into her charging port..She had a prompt, and it automatically opened her camera settings where she could video and take still shots of what the otoscope can see.It was a clear picture on the screen from the otoscope camera, much clearer than my previous one.Ive learnt that over the past 4 years that it is very beneficial to have one of these otoscope devices, especially if your doctors surgery is still taking advantage of the 'remote telephone consultations' and make it difficult to book an appointment face to face.I dont know how a doctor thinks they can diagnose Tonsilitus through a telephone call and with 'no appointments left' for a face to face appointment, I had no alternative but to email through to the surgery the images from the otoscope showing my daughters sore throat for the doctor to look at, who promptly made her a prescription for antibiotics.

A very good idea. Fits easily to the USB-C port on the iPhone (15) and then works seamlessly with the dedicated app. The probe allows an easy insert into the ear canal with an excellent 1080P HD image. The inbuilt led illumination is excellent. This is a high quality ámateur'device and I suppose you have to have a health warning that you explore your ear canal with a probe at your own risk, but leaving that to one side, it's a very well designed device.

Handy little gadget for doing some personal check ups on your aural health.Easy to set up (with iPhone), and with almost no messing about I was ready to examine the workings of my ear.Good, clear image with bright visuals, stable connection, and the focal point is perfect for the purpose of viewing in such an enclosed space.The added parts are a bonus for cleaning inside the ear of any identified "gunk".Good value for money.
