My daughter had the original version and it was super bulky. I love this smaller version.It’s on the more expensive side but the quality is amazing! Definitely worth it and will last a long time.Absolutely love that it has a cooler pack for the side compartment. Perfect for fruits & veggies or anything you want to keep cool.I pack lunch for my daughter everyday. I love that this thermos has a wider opening than the old one. It’s easier to clean and fits more food.It’s easy to clean.My ONLY negative is the rubber strap that comes off easily. Other than that I love this product!

I’m absolutely happy with this lunchbox for my nine-year-old daughter. I decided to leave a review because, when I was choosing whether to buy it, I was specifically looking for feedback about using the thermos for soup — and couldn’t find a clear answer.Now I can confidently say: yes, it works! She brings soup in the thermos every day, and it doesn’t leak at all. The thermos is completely safe to use if you close it properly — just press down until you hear a click. That click means it’s locked and won’t leak. Also, double-check that all the seals are in place.As for the cooling mechanism, I have mixed feelings so far. My daughter says she doesn’t really notice her fruit being colder, so I’m not sure yet if it makes a difference .Overall, I’m more than satisfied with this purchase. It’s a great solution if you want to keep lunch organized and include hot meals — even soup — in your child’s school day. Highly recommend!

My child loves this lunch box very durable and washes easily

Easy to clean and assembl. My daughter doesn’t eat all that much in school so I didn’t want to get the full set of lunch container. This is perfect size for packing warm food with dessert (fruit, chips, cracker and etc.) little pricey but cute and convenient.

Very cool, keeps cold and hot at the same time.

I cannot speak to the durability of the previous versions of this bento box because this is my first experience with an OmieBox. I had heard good things about this brand so I thought I give the new bigger kid version a try. That was a mistake! The thermos leaked and the latch broke during the first use causing a huge mess in my 9 year old daughter's backpack. A lunch box marketed for use by kids should be durable to withstand more than a day's use! I'll be going back to Bentgo for my future lunch box purchases.
