Another good book from Usborne
My daughter (3) loves these stories. Personally, I'm not sure why all books about going to the dentist seem to go into detail about having a filling. At three, all I want is for her to be comfortable going and let the dentist look in her mouth. I think this actually scares her more. But she loves all the stories and would read them all in one sitting. This collection is good value compared with buying these stories separately, although I do find the small paperback ones from this range are good for carrying in my bag when out and about.

Usborne quality and great content...
This book has proved quite handy, and after the initial read upon receipt, we get this book out quite often for first time experiences with our children. The Dentist was particularly useful (if not quite detailed) for our first visit and we took it along with us, the dentist was quite impressed by the content...Having a baby also helped, as it explained the whol hospital and coming home elements so our son was confused why mum was in hospital overnight.Would recommend as lots of story's, from holidays to parties.

Gorgeous book!
This must be my daughters most favourite book (And she has has quite a lot of books!). We bought this when she was about 2 and three months and now she's nearly three. She loves the 'going to hospital' story and 'going to the dr's' most. She also loves spotting the little duck. I keep having to read the stories over and over.I must say that the pictures are really cute and I also love looking at them!Very good value. This is a book that will sit on her bookshelf for a long time to come as it'll also help her when she's starting to read...

Lovely but outdated in places
Lovely book although some advice out dated (telling puppy off for urinating on the floor after the fact)

Not my cup of tea
I didn't like this and returned it. Thought the stories were boring. I mainly bought it for the story about a new baby, but again thought it was boring and in particular, didn't like the pages/pictures that had the dad with his feet up having a cup of tea while the mother did the painting of the bedroom. Not sure why they would present the parents like that for young kids. The Princess Polly new big sister book was definitely the best alternative I found for introducing a toddler-girl to a new sibling.

My daughter has loved this collection of stories since she was two
My daughter has loved this collection of stories since she was two. It's a firm favourite. Lots of different tales to choose from, colourful pictures and spot the duck on each page. Really good way of letting little ones know what to expect when going to the doctors, moving house, starting school, going on a plane etc. We have gone on to purchase this for friends.

I bought the whole book as it'll be useful to use in later life for different firsts
All first stories in one book. I bought this for my 17 month old to read to her before I have my second baby. I bought the whole book as it'll be useful to use in later life for different firsts. Plus I remember searching for the ducks when I was younger. The stories have enough detail.
