Gents 54.00mm Quartz Watch with Black Analogue - Digital dial and Black Rubber Strap Strap GBA-800-1AER

The watch is great. Feels absolutely bulletproof and looks good on the wrist - not too chunky but with enough presence to remind you it's a G-Shock. As it's nearly completely black it could easily be worn with a shirt for work. The time is easy enough to read. The digital display can be tricky for two reasons - one because it's in negative and not that easy to read. I was aware before purchasing but if digital is your main need then probably not for you. Second problem can be the hands obscuring the digital display. There is a function to move the hands but it's not intuitive or simple so I tend not to, instead just tilting my wrist more to try and read it. Not a major annoyance but worth flagging up. Otherwise all functions are useful. Step counter seems to work ok although registers more fake steps than other devices so I wouldn't use it if your step count is super important - it's a nice to have for me. All in all an inexpensive, good looking and robust watch that I really like. Will add more G-Shocks to the collection over time! My one major complaint - and it's not the watch, is the terrible Casio app that you have to use if you want the full range of functions such as step count monitoring and elevation tracking. It is truly awful - notifications that you can't remove from your home screen without killing the app manually, battery sapping for very little reward and very poor connectivity and syncing. Casio aren't the first and won't be the last to underestimate how frustrating poor apps can be alongside their products. For me, the step counter and Bluetooth are nice to have - I bought the watch for its aesthetics and build quality. However if I'd bought it for the connectivity I'd be sorely disappointed and would probably have returned it. It's about time companies invested properly in their app development otherwise it devalues what would be an excellent product. G-Shock Connected is currently rated 2.9 on Google Play Store which gives an indication of other's frustrations.

I like watches......added this G Shock to my collection. I wear this watch now most of the time!! Pardon the pun. Looks great on the wrist. Was a bit dubious re an acetate plastic strap. But my wrist doesn't sweat one bit! And I'm on holiday in 34 degree heat in Tenerife! wearing this watch every day on holiday. I Don't even realize I got it on. Been in the sea and the black strap and face hasn't faded yet with the salt. So it probably won't. As also I Washed it each time with tap water. Light on it is amazing almost like a torch. Hands look cool easy to read. Set up was easy with the App with online easy instructions and step counter record I can access anytime re Bluetooth. To see how many steps calories I do in a day. Accuracy is Bluetooth linked to your phone. So when connected will adjust as necessary automatically. But it hasn't lost or gained time at all. Only when travelling abroad and will adjust automatically when synced up with your phone. All in all a great value great looking watch. I'm now on the lookout for another but different style. They do hundreds of styles different settings!! Dangerous for my wallet!!! Lol

Great quality. Bought for serving Police Officer who loves it

I Had this in my basket for a week or so and the price kept dropping paid £62 in the end. Bought it mainly for work but find I’m also wearing it instead of my other watches when I’m not working. So Not a bad watch this G Shock easy to set up and connect to my I phone, the white hands on black face make it easy to read in any light, the hands also illuminate pretty well in the dark. The digital screen is not so easy to read but is useable especially with backlight, the backlight by the way is very good. I didn’t want a massive watch so this one is just about the right size for me and I am pleased with the look on the wrist. Due to the nature of my work the watch gets quite muddy and bashed around at times I just throw in the sink and give it a scrub it cleans up like new so I would say it’s very robust. The step tracker works well as do the alarm functions which you can set up from your phone. Overall I am very pleased with this G Shock and would recommend it especially at the price I paid. How long it can take the type of use/abuse I give it only time will tell.

I love this watch. But it has two problems. 1. You can't change the date format. All the funtions and features and I can't change the date from mm/dd to dd/mm?! That alone cost it a star. 2. The band likes to pull out your arm hairs. Overall I'm very happy with it. It's just baffling that such a basic feature is missing.

Great watch, well-made and cool looking

This was my first ever watch purchase. Was never a watch person, but I LOVE this thing. Love the bluetooth step counter, which I have now come to rely upon. After a couple of battery changes and a strap change, I think it's time to upgrade to something a bit beefier, but it's a great G-Shock.

I got this watch Back in 2021 and I must say all it’s needed was a new battery! Still looks/works like new and I NEVER take it off… also connects through Bluetooth counts steps and everything else

PLUS: - Très belle qualité - Montre robuste - Le bracelet est très agréable et se règle facilement - Affichage de deux fuseaux horaires différents - Affichage du nombre de pas - L'application Casio est un énorme + (pratiquement tous les réglages peuvent s'y faire) MOINS: - L'écran n'est pas toujours super lisible suivant la luminosité et les reflets (il est toutefois possible de régler la montre pour que l'écran s'allume automatiquement quand vous tournez votre poignet pour regarder l'heure). Pour ce style de montres, les aiguilles peuvent par ailleurs masquer l'écran du bas du cadran. - La connexion à la montre en Bluetooth peut être laborieuse à première vue sans les bonnes consignes mais elle est en fait très simple et immédiate. Cela ne marchera pas si vous êtes sur l'affichage du deuxième fuseau horaire, il faut se mettre sur l'affichage du fuseau principal (qui est aussi celui des secondes/pas/date). La connexion avec le bouton en bas à droite de la montre est de trois types : une pression rapide = connexion et mises à jour de l'heure une pression longue (2 secondes) = connexion et mise à jour de l'heure et des pas une pression très longue (3 à 4 secondes) = fonction pour retrouver son téléphone

Schöne Uhr, gut ablesbar, stabil und trotzdem leicht

Jag ville ha en "smart" klocka men jag ville inte ha en som kräver laddning. Jag ville ha en klocka för alla väder och alla miljöer. Jag ville ha en klocka som hjälper mig i min träning, ute i skog och mark, när jag badar eller när jag är på jobbet. Denna klocka passade in på alla delar över förväntan. En mycket bra klocka för den som vill ha viss träningshjälp (stegräknare, intervall kontroll etc) men inte vill ha en minidator på armen. Cool klocka som verkligen lever upp till mina krav.

Très bonne montre, solide, étanche, très lisible, y compris dans le noir avec les aiguilles luminescentes et l'éclairage intégré. Réveil efficace, suivi des pas précis. En plus, jolie, ce qui ne cache rien. Arrivée très vite. Juste parfaite.
