This tea set is beautiful and tastes really good. It has a mild taste and could please someone that is not an avid tea drinker, or does not like anything too strong.

The first tea I opened in this set was the rose tea. It was great, and the rose flavor came out in the nose and in every sip. This compares well with other rose teas I have had. I also compared the aroma to some rosebuds I have (2 types of rosebuds on hand currently for mixing with green and black teas), and this passed the nose test. The Dimbula tea in this was also great with some fruitiness to balance out the earthy tannins.The two teas featured in this set are individually packaged, and it's set up so that once opened, you can store each in the tin. The tin can seem over the top if you just want tea, but one of my favorite tea purveyors sells a lot of tea in tins, so it's a thing.Although for review purposes, I got this for my family to drink, this would make a great gift for those who are tea drinkers, and particularly if they enjoy floral notes. Not everyone enjoys floral notes, so if for gifting, you might want to try to find that out.

I have begun ordering Basilur tea for the tins and the tea! The tins are always beautiful. It turns out I'm not that fond of floral teas but I do think it's is a quality one. The other Ceylon tea is great. If you brew it according to the directions it is a mild tea. If you leave your tea ball in longer it develops a stronger taste I find delicious. This is a great for an afternoon cup of tea. Both teas come in resealable bags to maintain freshness. The tins could keep them fresh but I have already put them into use for other things. Lovely teas in a cute double-decker storage tin. The teas come individually packaged, with the Dimbula being the larger of the two. The packages are conveniently resealable, though you do have to squish them a little to get them to fit in the tin compartments. The rose tea is beautifully floral without being overwhelming and the dimbula has a light delicate sweetness. Super easy teas to love and enjoy everyday. Bonus, this would also make a great gift!

So when I saw this English Rose and Dimbula tea set in a double-decker tin embellished with roses, I knew I had to try it. What a delight! The English Rose tea has a strong rose scent and flavor that permeates the tea, making it a delightful drink for rose lovers with or without cream. I tried it both ways. I had never tried Dimbula tea before, but it is delicious. My research says that Dimula tea has a citrus undertone, and it may well have. To my nose it had a slightly smoky scent. Smelled wonderful and tasted the same. This would make a delightful gift for anyone who loves teas of all kinds, and especially rose or Dimbula teas in particular. This one is going to "gift" my kitchen as I enjoy every cup. This would be a great tea combination to share with friends who stop by to visit.The tea is loose and comes sealed in resealable pouches inside the tin. See photo.

Both teas were lovely but I think this company puts more emphasis on packaging than on the teas.That said they're both nice flavors. The English rose I found had a very strong scent but less flavor than I expected. It was reminiscent of a Turkish delight and I wasn't crazy about the aftertaste. However if you like rose/floral teas you might appreciate that one!I preferred the Dimbula, which was great because it was the larger package of the two teas! It had a more fruity flavor and the scent wasn't as overwhelming as the rose.The tin would make this a really nice gift or part of a package/gift basket for someone! Overall both teas are nice but it'll come down to your own personal preferences for flavor and type of tea!

Both flavors of tea in the Basilur Floral Pink Luxury Tin Caddy are high quality and tasty. While I'm not a big fan of rose flavoring, I will say that if you are a rose lover this tea is right up your alley. The Dimbula, however, is exactly my type of tea -- strong and with a hint of fruity flavor. The tins are lovely and would please any tea lover. This would be an excellent item to include in a gift basket.
