Wintry, arctic animals, Frozen castle fun!
Soyee 40pc. Arctic Animals magnetic tiles set is very nice. I have been teaching Pre-K for over 10 years and have a massive magnetic tiles collection. I have ordered 78 sets of magnetic tiles from Amazon alone over the years. Let's see how this set measures up. Let's look at quantity first. This set includes 40 pieces only. I would consider this an add on/extension set as your little builder will surely need more pieces. Note the pictures in the ad are of multiple sets and you will not be able to build that without purchasing more. My pictures show exactly what you can build with a single set. There are 7 squares (the most popular and used shape in the classroom) and 3 are printed with snowflakes. There are 6 equilateral triangles with two printed with snow. There are 4 large triangles and two have snow print. There are 6 quarter circle pieces, 3 fence/castle tops, 3 half squares, two arched windows and 2 paned windows. There are 3 isosceles triangles and 4 arctic animals. Next let's look at aesthetics and variety of shapes. This set comes in beautiful wintry colors of deep blue, deep purple and clear. Just a fabulous combination for any snowy/wintery scene or for those Frozen castle builders in your life. There are 11 pieces total that have specialty print of either snow or animal details. The animals are double sided and the snowy building blocks one sided. There is a good variety of shapes including some quarter circles that are less common. The 4 arctic animals have nice detail and are double sided. Let's compare thickness and size. In the photos you will find a picture that has 3 stacks of 7 tiles each. On the left is MagnaTiles Stardust set, on the right Picasso Tiles and in the middle, Soyee arctic animals tiles. As you can see the thickness falls between these two other name brands as most do. This set is standard sized and is fully compatible with all other standard sized tiles in your collection. It will blend flawlessly. Lastly, let's look at magnetism. I own 78+ sets of magnetic tiles from over 35 different companies. To test magnetism I dangle a line of squares off a single square to see how many it will hold. All my sets hold from a weak 4 tiles to a whopping 8 tiles long with the majority holding 6-7 tiles on average. This set holds a firm 7 tiles which is average/above average magnetism. This set will enhance the integrity of your child's structure strength for sure. These are snappy tiles that draw nearby tiles to themselves. Nice. The animals themselves have two small barrel magnets in the bottom only. All animals will hold their own weight when hung vertically on a tile. Overall, this is a lovely extension set with animals. I consider magnetic tiles one of the best open ended learning resources I have in Pre-K. Your child will be exploring STEM principles when building with these along with critical thinking, hand/eye coordination and so much more. Magnetic tiles are one of the only toys that stay out on the classroom shelf from September till June. These toys engage a wide range of learners and include so many Pre-K learning targets. Add some matchbox cars, trees, rocks, animals and people and you open up a whole new realm of imaginative building for your little engineer. Magnetic tiles are durable and one of the best toys on the market for a 3-8 year old. This set rates well with magnetic pull and will enhance your tall building projects for sure. Comes with an amply sized drawstring bag for storage. Great price, great purchase.

Snowflakes Magnet Tiles- STRONG & BEAUTIFUL!
My daughter loves these! They are a beautiful (look kinda like a stain glass window) colorful blue, purple, and clear tiles with some of them having a snowflake design on them. A nifty little draw string bag is included for containment, as seen in pics. All the tiles have eight to four little magnets on there sides which help them stick very well to eachother, these magnets are strong. The tiles are universal in size so your child can use them with other sets as my daughter was able to do. She mixed them with other sets and build a huge castle (as seen in the pic provided) and all of them stuck very well to eachother.Only one drawback comes with these, my daughter says that the 4 pie pieces (which together form an arch) do not have magnets on the rounded side of them and she does not like that she only has the option of using them for topping a project. Yet besides that, they are well loved! As seen in the pic provided there are, 40 pieces in all. Here’s the Breakdown:4 animals, 1 each (deer, polar bear, rabbit, whale)6 pie pieces - 2 of each color (blue, purple, clear)3 fences- 1 of each color (blue, purple, clear)3 rectangles- 1 of each color (blue, purple, clear)3 regular triangles- 1 of each color (blue, purple, clear)2 tall isosceles triangles (plain) - 1 of each (blue, clear)2 tall isosceles triangles (snowflake) - 1 of each (blue, clear)2 equilateral triangles (snowflake)- 1 of each color (blue, clear)4 equilateral triangles (plain)- 1 of each (blue, clear) also 2 purple3 squares (snowflakes)- 1 of each color (blue, purple, clear)4 squares (plain)- 1 of each (blue, purple) also 2 clear2 doors- 1 of each (purple, clear)2 windows- 1 of each (blue, clear)I am happy to recommend these! Thank you Soyee Creative Playing & Amazon for these cool Magnet Tiles! :)

Let it go!
Not that this is affiliated with any mouse-related corporations, but your 4yo won't know the difference. As is always the case, these are just as good as the name brand, with strong magnets and sturdy shells, so they should give your kid all the architectural related joy they could want.

Solid value buy with good colors
This is a great set to add to your collection of magnetic building tiles. They’re a much better value than the name brand ones for the arctic theme and I like that the pieces have double-sided designs. The colors are bright and come with some clear pieces, which are a lot of fun for my daughter who likes to build dungeons for her toys. By itself, this set doesn’t have enough pieces to build the full castle on the front of the box but it’s definitely enough pieces to travel with. The quality is comparable to PicassoTiles but I think not quite as good as MagnaTiles.

Great arctic-themed tile set
We just recently added this arctic-themed set to our ever-growing collection of magnetic tiles, and my kids love the beautifully designed pieces. The magnets are strong and the plastic used is very sturdy. My daughter especially loves that she can incorporate her Frozen dolls into her play after she builds her winter world with the tiles.

Reminds me of frozen!
My daughter is in her frozen stage, and this looks just like it similar scenery. Magnets are strong stronger than other magnet toys we have. I am disappointed in the quantity of magents. The pictures make it seem like there would be enough for a castle or at least a small one, but you need like 3/4 of these products to make even a portion of the castle they show. In a way it seems misleading. Other than that they work great and I never noticed any smell. Comes with a booklet with a few different things u can make and many you can't make due to not enough pieces. Comes with a little bag for storage. Dits cheap enough to get two but it is misleading .
