Pool pump
Very great pump. Had sand grits going through my other one and this one was much easier to put together. Very quiet while running. Definitely worth the money

Works great! I should've bought it two summers ago!
I bought this to replace the crappy factory canister filter my pool came with. My pool is now crystal clear without the hassle of cleaning/replacing a paper filter every few days. I live in a very dusty, desert region with lots of wind. Granted it is rated for a pool twice as big as mine, but in this case, bigger is better. Set up was a breeze. I don't see why anyone has, or could have any issues with leaks except for maybe not tightening the connections properly. That being said, it has only been a few months since I installed the pump and it has worked flawlessly from day one.

Lasted 2 months
Pump stopped working after 2 months. I am out of return window. Amazon/sellers want me to remove everything and ship back to them and they will give me a refund. Thank you for offering refund but a replacement motor ( only ) would be a much better option than removing everything and trying to ship it all back. Filter and hoses work just fine. It was the motor than stopped working.

Still going strong!! Great flow!!
Easy installation, filter quality is perfect, easy to use and set timer. I have a 10ft round above ground pool, about 4,000 gallons and circulates strong! Easy to clean and very low noise. Love it!

Works as expected but needs more power
This filter/pump said it could handle our 7,500 gallon pool, but the truth is it barely gets the job done. The pump just isn't strong enough to do anything beside circulate water. I am already thinking about replacing the pump because it provides very little suction when vacuuming.Setup was pretty straightforward. It was well packed and the firstions were clear enough to get it working. I decided to give filter balls a try this year instead of sand and so far I am happy with the results.I do like the fact that the pump has a built in timer, though I usually just leave it run as I also have a salt generator and don't wnat to run into a situation where the filter is off and the salt generator tries to run. Also, when the filter is off, everything just settles to the bottom and requires more vacuuming, which as noted above, is not easy with this pump.To summarize, the filter/pump work well, but I'd suggest a bigger one for an 18' above ground pool.

Keeps our pool so clean!
This filter has some serious power. We havenโt had any issues keeping our little pool clean this year. This pump keeps the water circulating and the pool is virtually dirt free. Our area gets pretty gusty and we have farm land and wild life reserves all around us so a lot of debris can blow in. It runs when we tell it to daily, itโs a great addition.

Perfect for our 10โx16โ above ground pool.
We bought this to replace our cartridge filter and was excellent all summer long. Easy to install and operate. Amazing quality for a good price!

I see where the negative reviews come from but ..
After a very long process I finally got the filter running leak free. I ran into many issues along the way, but now that it's up and running I might be willing to update this review with a 4 star if it continues to operate good. Now that it's functional, I feel like it's going to be effective but time will tell. Some issues:The instructions explained how to assemble the filter, but fail to explain how to hook it up to the pool. After watching some videos I was able to figure out which pool hose goes to which valve on the filter. Maybe they thought that was common sense but this was my first filter like this.My pool has 1.5 inch hoses and they do not fit in the adapters that came with the filter. I thought a 1.5 inch to 1.5 inch adapter would work but it didn't. For 1.5 inch hoses you need a 40mm to 1.5 inch adapter. For the most annoying and frustrating problem I faced. After filling the tank with sand and connecting everything, I started running the pump and water was leaking from under the valve mechanism. In order to correct I had to drain the tank, dump out 70 pounds of sand and reset everything. The problem was that the 'funnel'that holds the tube down in the tank is about a 1/4 short and it allowed sand to get under the tube enough that the valve cover couldn't make a good seal. After getting the sand out I put a couple rubber gaskets under the filter to hold the tube down and carefully poured the sand back in.Thankfully I'm a handy man, but this process was a pain in the butt. Now that it's not leaking, the filter seems like it'll be nice. We'll see.
