Okay. Call me a clothes pin freak. But I use them constantly--clipping up everything in my bathroom and closet. We travel the world constantly and I would not be without a handful of the clips on every journey. You can wash your socks and undies and plaster them all over the hotel room at night. Great for CPAP paraphernalia. Critical survival items.I have long searched for those hooked pins since about 1980s and have worried that they were off the market. To me, they are one of the 20th century's finest inventions. But try finding the hooked variety in WalMart or Bath and Beyond. No dice. I have found some plastic wannabees. They were weak, poorly designed, and broke. Then I discovered the one by Hanger Home. They are the best. The design is wonderful--one strong metal spring that does not seem to rust. I've tortured them in use for a long time now and they still work like a charm. And the hook opening is quite large enough to hand on thick bars or whatever. These little suckers have improved my life immeasurably. A really great product.

Nice to get so many in one package. Hope I can find them when I need new ones. They are pretty standard. Definitely have a large hanger and clip is strong. They are not going to last a lifetime and will break occasionally, I am sure. They are what they are, you know. What used to be a dime-store item.

I decided to try these hook clips on a recent trip to India, where I needed to hand wash my clothes frequently. The hooks were great! Pros: First, I could almost always find places to hang them, e.g. using the shower curtain rod. Second, they were strong enough to hold up wet shirts and pants (didn't try jeans) using 2-3 hooks, and spreading the clothing out like that helped it dry more quickly. Third, the hooks are sturdy. I used them daily for several weeks and none broke. And 10 is a good number to bring. Cons: they take up more space in the luggage than a travel clothesline, but the hooks are plastic and add little weight. I do wish they were designed to pack more efficiently. And they don't swivel, which might have been useful. But these are small quibbles. Overall, I couldn't have done without these on the trip, and I will definitely take them along in the future. A great travel accessory!

I must be the odd one compared to some of the reviews. I find these laundry hooks to be perfect for many uses. I keep them in my shower for towels and wash cloths to hang to dry after a shower, they have never failed me. I use them to hang items that I hand wash, they are perfect, no rough edges and they hold perfectly. I've actually clipped my tennis shoes to them after they have been washed (1 to a clothes pin of course)I use them outdoors at the barbecue pit where I clip towels and hot-pads to keep them from blowing away or falling on the ground. I use them on the picnic table putting the hook around the umbrella pole. You can clip many things you don't want to blow away. Instead of putting the napkins by each plate I clip them on to the hooks for that staying power. Kids sitting at the outdoor table coloring and they want to take a break, they clip their pictures. I've hung the hooks from the spokes of the umbrella and clipping a strand of battery operated lights for some lighting effect at a after dark party.I have one hanging in my SUV over a knob and I attach all of my charger cords instead of having them laying all over.As you can see I don't just keep them in the bathroom or laundry room. So buy two sets and try thinking out of the box like I do!

These have become so hard to find in stores anymore, so I was relieved to find them online. I always carry these in my suitcase when I travel. We use them in the shower to hold our poofy bath sponges so they stay clean and can dry easily. We hang them in the bathtub and clip our wet bathing suits to them so they can dry. I use them in the car to hang a plastic grocery bag for trash. I use them in our hotel closet to clip accessories to our hanging outfits, as well as to hold a laundry bag so it's not lying on the ground. There are endless uses and we always seem to find new ones every time we travel. Of course, we also use some at home for the same purposes. The package comes with 10, so there are plenty for every use.
