in low light its impossible to distinguish any colour on the cards. The difference between 'black' and 'red' suits is a sort of reflective purple which just looks the same in low light. We quite liked it as something to add a bit more stress to the card game :)

My 9 year old started to perform some social magic tricks on our holiday this years with a cheap set of playing cards. After 4 days of testing out some tricks he entered a little talent competition and won! so as a present i bought him these cards as he loves gold and peacocks! these arrived and we were all wowwed by the quality. They are quite thick, and the finish on the cards feels such high quality. they are easy to handle, they arent slipperly but have enough give to be pliable for speed and slight of hand! especially for a newbie. He has now asked for another set for christmas of a different design to begin his collection!

These are very luxurious playing cards but the fancy design means they are not clearly defined. The picture cards all look grey unless they catch the light. This means you have to take a second to be sure which suit you are playing as they all look very similar. Once they catch the light the cards show very nice lustrous colours but iindoor lights tend to make the overall impression of a very grey looking pack of cards. For collectors I'm sure they are very desirable but they aren't the best for general use.

De kaarten zijn erg mooi en hebben de standaard air cushon finish. Voelen net zo goed aan als alle andere bicycle kaarten maar het goud laat snel los. Je hebt je handen onder het gouden glitter wanneer je er een paar minuten cardistry mee doet.

Nicht nur die Optik auch die Qualität der einzelnen Karten ist sehr gut. Ein einziger Nachteil kann sein, dass die goldene Farbe das Licht leicht reflektiert.
