Sweet Romance
Renegade is a Pre-Quel to a new series of books but believe me this book lacks for nothing. It is superbly written, well thought out, and flows smoothly. I read it in one sitting because I couldn't walk away from it. Renegade is set in the late 60's which was a simpler time with a lot of chaos in the world. Margaret Wilson has lived a sheltered life with a strict upbringing. She had plans to attend college which were sidetracked by an ailing parent, lack of funds, and a feeling of responsibility to her family.William Steele has lived a privileged life and is known as the town bad-boy. His family is rich with a bit of a shady background that the town won't let them forget. When Margaret and William's lives collide it is sparked with electricity. Margaret stretches her boundaries to be with the man she loves and William has to rethink the way he lives his life. I would suggest this book for anyone who loves a real romance of the hearts. Great read for me. Can't wait for my next read of the Steele family, I am hooked. Great job Jacqueline Sinclair. I was given an arc for a honest review.

Just loved it!
Margaret was the typical southern girl, who thirst for her parent approval. She was always considered the quiet young girl wanting to do the right thing, never defying her parental instructions. Her mother became ill; therefore, Margaret omit college degree to assist with the household duties.William was the typical rich, wild, street kid, who was known for his defiance acts and a womanizer. The small town knew about his family old reputation of bootlegging when it was against the law even though it had changed. William father gifted him with a 1969 Shelby GT500, he was extremely anxious to test it out and ran into Margaret. This is when William life changes!I loved this exciting story with great characters full of scandals, prejudices, loyalty, disparity and a bad boy turning into a true alpha male filled with true love. I'm looking forward to read the next book in this series.

William is a bad boy from a family with a reputation that goes ...
William is a bad boy from a family with a reputation that goes back to the days of bootlegging during prohibition. His family went legit, but the reputation stuck.Margaret is a good girl that obeys her father and goes to church every Sunday. She is expected to do the right thing and that is what she does. She has the reputation for being a cold fish.It all starts with a car. When William is gifted a beautiful 1969 Shelby Mustang GT500 from his father for his hard work, He decides to run it through its paces. Little did he know that by the end of the day, he would literally be running into the very woman who would change his life forever. The question is, can they get through all the differences, the stereotyping, and the obsticles that get in their way, so they can have the future they dream about together? Will she continue to make him want to be a better man and will he continue to make her his little renegade? You had me at 1969 Shelby GT500! I could end it there and it should speak for itself, how much I loved this book. It was one of those books, that when I was done reading it, I felt lost because it was over. I loved Williams confidence. How he had that reputation, but he didn’t let it stop him from going after Margaret. How he didn’t let what people said about her, keep him away either. I also loved how evern though it killed him, he respected her virtue even when she was ready to give it away to him. That speaks to the man he really was. Every girl wants to tame the badboy, but Margaret didn’t seem to care. She was able to see past the superficial stuff and know that there was more to him then just the reputation he given. There were parts of this book that almost gave me a heart attack! I was so submersed in the characters, and story that I would gasp outloud or yell at the book. Yes I got some funny looks. But that says a lot to how well written it was. I like the friendships formed in the end as well and wonder if they carry on into the next books. I can’t wait to get my hands on them!

Really enjoyed this one
I enjoyed this book. The author really captures small town life of the 1960s with its prejudices, scandals, and characters, all while still hitting the high notes of the 60s: the Vietnam war and the free love movement.I loved the characters, and while I worried Margaret would fall into the good girl meets bad boy trope and go wild, she retains her innocence even while growing into her own character. I really liked how William and Margaret's relationship grew. The plot was a little predictable, earning it four instead of five stars, but this author knows how to write some steamy scenes.
