Harry Potter Talking Dobby and Collectible Book (RP Minis)

Purchased this for my Harry Potter mad wife for a Christmas present. He arrived well packaged and with easy instructions. This is a two piece assembly, Dobby is secured to the base plate by a magnet. This makes him very fragile (I would not recommend this for young children as it is a display item, not a toy) My wife has wrapped an elastic band around the base and Dobby's feet for security, but I suppose you could use Blu Tac just as well. The attention to detail is fantastic, and Dobby looks like he does in the movies. His speech is also the real voice and not some robotic cheap attempt thank God. He quotes various lines of dialog from the movie including my wife's favourite 'Dobby is free'. I intend to collect all the miniatures from Harry Potter, I also have the sorting hat, which is also excellent. Any questions, do not hesitate to ask.

My dobby arrived in perfect condition with the box still in tact. It is wonderfully cute, a little small, but very detailed. Dobby knows several fun phrases from all of his movies, such as "dobby never meant to kill, dobby only meant to maim or seriously injure", "dobby is free" or "Harry Potter must not go back to hogwarts". I mean, i honestly expected him to know less quotes. It was impressive. Very pleased with it!! Do be careful, it is not a toy to be played with. I accidentally dropped mine and it broke - luckily I managed to glue it back together in a way it's unnoticeable. The magnet that holds dobby on his pedestal isn't very strong either. But I would still highly recommend this product. It is the perfect gift for any Potter fan. I mean, who doesn't love Dobby?

Not sure about anyone else's but mine, although we'll made and cute, seems to repeat phrases one after the other or stops in mid phrase and doesn't complete the sentence! Kind of spoils it a bit for me!! Giving it the benefit of the doubt, I'll perhaps put it down to dying batteries, so I'll give a different opinion I'd the problem changes!!

This is fantastic, bought it as a gift so not given it yet but it looks and sounds exactly like it says if not better, a real must for any Harry Potter dans , you won’t be disappointed, people have wrote its fragile and breaks easily but it’s common sense if you drop something like this it will break, don’t be put off you will like this and it’s a very good fair price for such a unique gift

I bought this to use as a cake topper & paired with the Harry Potter wand candle it looked amazing

Looked good but the phrases didn’t work that well. Only said half a sentence.

I'm an over 60 year old woman who loves little Dobby, this is an excellent little chap, he says more than you'd think, his voice is exactly as it is in the films, I feel like he hasn't, he's come to live with me, welcome back Dobby. He needs to stand on his base to keep him safe, don't expect him to stand without it, he will fall over and could get damaged. Lovely little Dobby 😊💖

The Dobby figure is simply adorable! It features three sounds, including the classic "Dobby is Free!" It's a wonderful collectible that comes bundled with the book. This is perfect for any Harry Potter fan. The price point is also excellent for what you receive.

Adorei o Dobby! Ele é super bonitinho e muito bem feito, com um nível de detalhes que me surpreendeu, achei muito fiel ao personagem. Ele reproduz mais de cinco frases diferentes, as mais memoráveis, e o áudio, embora não seja de alta qualidade, é perfeitamente compreensível. Assim como as demais figuras Wizarding World, vem um mini livro como brinde, contendo citações e fotos do personagem. É importante mencionar que este Dobby é bem pequeno e também um pouco frágil. A base magnética poderia ser um pouco mais forte para evitar que ele caia facilmente, o que exige um pouco mais de cuidado. Apesar dessas observações, no geral, é um ótimo item decorativo e estou satisfeito com a compra. Recomendo para os colecionadores da saga.
