Try the squid jerky it is delicious
I wish this wasn't so expensive bought it on an impulse just to try it actually enjoyed it greatly. Tried other brands this one has definitely been the best so far. With 3 flavors Sweet, smoky, and spicy It has what you need to suit the craving of the moment. Quick heads up the smoky is a bit Hard while the other 2 flavors Have a much softer mouthfeel all incredibly delicious. I would give you a picture but I'm all out I guess they'll have to send me some free samples for such a great review LOL. But in all honesty if you've never tried squid jerky before give it a shot it's quite tasty And if you want to share with me I would not at all be opposed Have a great Rest of your day.

Very yummy, but a splurge
Enjoyed these so much! I feel like the price vs quantity isn’t quite there, but this isn’t common here so we’ll have to pay more for awhile. These have a fish smell and taste. If that bothers you in anyway, these are not for you. They’re chewy, and also cut more into thinner type strips. I never tried because I just ate them, but I think they’d be great in some noodle dishes for an anime themed meal. They would def enrich the broth in the bowl. But they might get rubbery, like over cooked calamari for my Americans.

Phenomenal
I'm the type that likes to try foods as soon as I get them and when this arrived I had been eating my favorite ice cream which I set aside so I could try a piece... and then promptly put the ice cream away because I knew I wasn't going back for it anytime soon. All three flavors are amazing and I ate one entire package in one sitting (not like there's a lot, it's 161 kcal for the whole bag). "Spicy" is Americanized "spicy" though, meaning I couldn't even tell it was supposed to be spicy until I read the package. To give more of an idea of how "spicy" it is, I'm pretty sure my "fresh cracked black pepper is spicy" mom could tolerate it. Regardless, I found the flavors quite distinctive. The Butter was sweet, the Spicy Bulgalbi was spicy sweet flavor, not spicy heat, and the Baked Squid is a more savory flavor that fits nicely in between the two. Do mind that each of those tiny servings has 5-6g or 1.25-1.5 teaspoons of sugar so they're all a little sweet, the latter two balanced by different flavors. I've always loved squid so I'm pleased that this actually tasted both like squid and also like the flavorings; I found it nicely balanced. My only issue is that there wasn't more of it. It's a bit too expensive to regularly buy it as is (not to say I don't understand why it is) but if each flavor came in it's own bag, same size, filled up like actual jerky, (or if I were rich or if it were ebt eligible) I wouldn't be able to stop myself from buying the full size for all three in full bags they were each that good. Maybe they'll stop being "currently unavailable" one day but they'd have to add the baked one, too. -- Pictures are of the back of the product both in the native Korean language and in the MTL English language. I suggest using both since the MTL text overlay obscured some of the information such as the kcal on one of the flavors which can only be seen on the original image. Also, if you care about the language translation, "Elvanseok Squid" which was supposed to be the Baked Squid was mistranslated in image ihnc why; "맥반석" is "MaekBanSeok", and "Maek" is not even close to "El" lol. I didn't really look at everything, though so there could be more mistakes.

First though? Cat Treat.
When others state it has a fishy taste, that is underplaying it. It has a very strong scent the moment it is opened and my first thought was, this smells exactly like my cat's treats. The taste was exactly as it smelled, I have not indulged in tasting my cat's treats but I'd imagine them to tasted exactly thus. They are not inedible by any means, but they are also not enjoyable. Once your tongue is saturated you can get past the first punch to the mouth of the fishy flavor. I don't feel this should be part of 'enjoying' something. The spicy is not. It is enough however that my cats, which enjoy the other two flavors, spit this one out and acted offended as if they had been tricked and harmed. I'll finish off the other packages spicy flavor bits, and give the rest to those who will truly enjoy them, and my two fur balls definitely do like these. I will not be purchasing them again though, but do not regret giving them a try as I enjoy reaching outside my comfort and known zones to see if there isn't a new enjoyment out there. p.s. be funny if you translated the package and it actually said "Dried Squid Cat Treats" :-)

Portion small for price.
The flavor was overall on the sweet side, and the spicy was nice. However not a great value for the portin size. Honestly your better off going down to your local Asian grocer and seeing if they have similar products.
