Successful beginning
The media could not be loaded. Honestly, I picked this package because it was attractive and a good price. I ended up planting about three seeds per spot about a foot apart on November 7. It is now November 19 and they are about a half inch tall. It seems that about 50% of the seeds or more germinated so far

Nothing sprouted
Planted the seeds in a cold frame with heat mats and dome lids over the seed trays on October 22/24. After 5 weeks of watering, and checking the heat mate is working not a single seed has sprouted.I am in zone 9b in the San Francisco Bay Area and it never gets that cold to kill the seeds so I just think that the seeds are not good and will not waste my money or time on them again. I babied them long enough and will have to go buy started plant’s know. A waste of time and money buying these seeds.Scott

Excellent, Unique Red Brussels Sprouts
The red brussels sprouts are awesome. Just like the red cabbage they have the purple hue and provide great nutrition to your gut microbiome. I dd not know these even existed. I look forward to growing these and trying the leaf greens as well. The packet comes with a decent amount seeds, and has the grow information on the back of the packet. I am very happy with the seeds and would recommend. Thank you!

not a lot of seed in the pack
I grow brussels sprouts each year. I needed some new seeds for this coming season, so I got this pack of heirloom red brussels sprouts seeds from Survival Garden Seeds. I often struggle with white flies bothering my crop. I'm curious how an heirloom variety will fare. The pack is nice and helpful. I personally recommend starting seeds much, much earlier than they recommend, as in my climate they need a longer growing time to mature. There's honestly not a lot of seed in the pack--my pack came with a lot of chaff. The seeds are a little smaller than what I have grown in the past--but I've never done a heirloom variety. It's too early to plant these, so I will have to see how they do in the upcoming season. I will provide an update with germination percentage and crop yield. They seem a little pricey to me for how little is in the pack.
