Finally Classic-Crecy Publications have produced a book which is quite outstanding.Written by a Mikael Olrog, a quite young Swedish citizen, I must confess I was happily surprised by the tremendous details given and the very mature text. Mikael has done an outstanding job and outshines many of the older authors writing for Classic.True enough he leans on the shoulder of giants, in this case Günther Ott and many others from various countries around Europe.Again I can only say, if your interest is Luftwaffe, buy it, you will not be disappointed.Well done Mikael!!Stig Jarlevik

As is usual with this series of books, this one is about as comprehensive as it can be. Beautifully produced, to the usual high standards, this just has to be THE definitive work on these aircraft.

Ok you have to borderline trainspoter for historic planes and engineering to really get the best out of these books, but if you are, this is another exellent addition to the series.

Well written, glad to see the Classic series continue. I haven't made it all the way through this book, but am finding it interesting regarding Dornier's efforts to obtain foreign sales for this aircraft at the same time the Luftwaffe was acquiring Messerschmitt fighters increasing the demand for the same DB601 engines Dornier had been instructed to use in this export version.The only complaint I have and this is true of the entire series, the font is too small for easy reading.

Umfangreiche Typchronik der Dornier Do 215 die in der Luftwaffe keine sehr große Verbreitung fand. Sehr detailliert wird auf die Nachtjäger- und die Beleuchter-Variante eingegangen. Für alle Luftwaffenfreaks wird in diesem Buch endlich auch mal ein interessantes Nischenmodell behandelt. Papier und Druckqualität sind sehr gut und die Fotos sind sehr klar abgebildet. Ich kann das Buch nur empfehlen, und ich würde mir eine Typchronik in dieser Detailfülle auch für die Henschel Hs 123 oder die Blohm & Voss BV 138 wünschen. Einzig ärgerlich ist die Amazon Vorbesteller Preisgarantie, die suggeriert einen Vorteilspreis bekommen zu haben um dann festzustellen, daß andere Anbieter auf der Amazon Plattform um über 6 Euro günstiger sind.

元々資料本の少ないDo215だけで、クラシック本が一冊できるのか？と思っていましたが、未発表写真も多く驚かされました。特に北アフリカ、地中海方面にDo215は配備されていないという定説（？）を覆す写真と側面カラー図、さらにはB-9tropなんていう派生型があったとは！B-4のキットを改造して自分で作ってみたくなりました。
