Made in USA is good, but only if it's a good product. This seems to be a great one.
Staplers seem like a simple thing; they either work or don't.I can't stand staplers jamming on me or failing to staple, so when I went to buy one, I knew what my candidates were: Swingline (down in quality since their glory days), Ace (I inherited a bunch of sixty year old Ace Pilots, but they're getting frail, and good luck finding a new one for sale), or El Casco (bit pricey. Just a bit.)You can imagine my surprise when I saw this pop up in a google search. An american stapler? $15?Yes, it is. And the pictures don't do its die-cast, powder-coated shape justice. It's a paragon of good engineering, removing some complexity and problem spots that show up in a Swingline, and yet managing a more solid feel, better ergonomics, and an easier stapling action. It's far handsomer viewed down low than the vendor's pictures suggest, and also holds in the hand a lot better than expected: the powdercoat and good rubber base mean it takes very little hand pressure to hold it upright. It's easy to load staples; It clicks open easily but once clicked back shut, is very reliably closed. The ergonomic downside: it's slightly tippy, side-to-side. Not noticeably so, but I knocked it over on my desk accidentally, a minor irritation for sure.So how does it work?Pretty darn good. I took some cardboard from the packaging and stapled it together with the supplied staples. Then I did it again, in the same spot, fifteen or twenty times. As advertised, it just wouldn't jam, and it worked easily even with staples stacked atop one another. The bottom line:If the heavier-than-normal gauge springs or the copper anodized follower or the excellent finish of the castings are any indication, Praxxis will be selling these staplers, and lots of them, for a long time to come.

High quality
Well made stapler. It will probably last a lifetime. Use it multiple times per day in the offices. Bought one first, and ordered another after testing it out. Would definitely suggest this one, whichever color.

Solid stapler that should last a lifetime.
I love the bright red color of this stapler. My desk is a bit messy -- well, it's a lot messy -- so it is quick and easy to find this when I need it. I have been using a mini-stapler, but I kept losing it and it started to pop open every time I used it. I bought this just for casual home use, so it's not like it's going to get industrial-level usage, but it is solid, it works right every time and in case I need a quick weapon to smack somebody over the head, this is plenty hefty to do the job and not even get bent. (Just kidding. I'm not really the violent type.)

The Oregon Stapler
Believe me when I say these are heavy in weight. Sturdy in structure. I haven't used it much ( Just got it today 2/03/19 ). However, it is THE most gentle squeezing during use, The staples are wonderful (the pack that came with it). I like the thought that even though the parts may come from overseas, knowing people have jobs to assemble the items in the US. Y'all give it a shot.....I mean what have you got to loose.

Extremely sturdy and durable
I was amazed at what heft this stapler had. I currently have a Swingline and the housing is made of plastic. It does the job but feels extremely cheap. I bought this due to the favorable reviews and I am NOT disappointed. The stapler effortlessly staples numerous pages with a great deal of ease. The action of the arm is so fluid I find myself putting in extra staples! You’ll definitely be satisfied with this purchase.
