Nathan James Harvey Rattan Bar Stool, Bohemian Counter Height Stool with Woven Seagrass Seat, Solid Wood Legs, and Metal Footrest Seagrass/Brushed Black

We ordered these stools a couple of years ago for our vacation/rental home (actually ordered a couple extra for replacement) and have been very happy with them. They are easy to assemble, very comfortable, sturdy and look very nice. Fortunately, we have not had to replace them, but decided to assemble the "2 extra stools" for another area in the house a few days ago. Like I said, super easy to put together, but I ended up overtightening the screw in one of the legs and cracked it. We were going to try and repair the leg ourselves, but decided to contact customer service to see if there was any way possible to purchase a replacement leg. First off, they responded within seconds, which never happens. Then instead of sending me a replacement leg, they sent me an entire stool. This literally arrived a few days later, and at no additional cost to me. This was totally my fault, and I had expected to pay for the replacement, if that was even going to be an option. Totally exceeded my expectations! Will definitely recommend them and will definitely order more products from them in the future. Thank you for so kind and for your SUPERB customer service!

Purchased these stools to complete our rebuild after Hurricane Ian, Sept 2022 Ft. Myers, Fl. The stools matched the color of our kitchen chairs perfectly. We only used them for 2/mo b-4 returning to our Summer home. I have a feeling that the white paint around the foot rest will scuff off, but nothing a little paint won’t fix. I plan to scotch guard the seats and may consider a durable clear coat before they get to much wear. I can update the durability after more use. The price was right $$

I was hesitant to buy these stools due to all of the mixed reviews, but I’m glad I did.I bought 3 of them to tuck under my breakfast bar. They look very sleek and opened up the space. The cushion on the stools is very comfortable.The reason I gave these stools 4 stars is that while they are sturdy for the most part, there is a slight wiggle to them, but I think that’s to be expected in a way. Assembly was fairly easy and straightforward. 2 out of 3 stools were very easy to put together;however, the last stool I had trouble getting 3 of the legs in. I ended up flipping the stool over and adding my weight to push the legs in and that did the trick.Lastly, I did order the gray cushion with the white legs, but the gray is more of a cross between gray and beige. They still look great, but I don’t feel they are a true gray.Overall, I’m happy with these stools and they are exactly what I was looking for!

These are very nice stool at a low price yet well built and comfortable!Assembly was very easy. That’s is a true statement because we take longer than estimated times to assemble things 😂 yet these took no time at all. No missing parts, no wobbly legs. We’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for a simple, comfortable, easy to assemble, no back stools.

We recently remodeled our kitchen and was looking for some counter height stools. We bought 3 brown stools with the black cushion top. They look great and are very comfortable. Our 3 kids use them daily and they are very solidly built. They love them.Assembly was fairly easy. It took about 15 mins to assemble each stool, they were packaged well to prevent them from scratching.So, after I assembled the 3 stools I noticed one was a little wobbly. One of the legs was a little shorter then the others. I tried to adjust it and it wouldn’t work. I called Nathan and quickly was able to get in touch with a Human. Robin was very easy to talk to. She asked me for a picture of the issue and told me once she received it she would send me out a new stool. I asked how to return the old one and she said that I could donate it or keep it. They were sorry for the issue. I received the replacement stool in a few day. Shortly after Robin wrote and asked if I received the replacement and if there were any issues. What company does that now a days!?! Everything worked out great. Very happy to do business with this company, great product and outstanding customer service.

I ordered the 29” white stools with gray seats even though it had a few bum reviews. The stools look very nice and fit my new space fabulously. The quality of the stools is pretty much what I expect for the price- just “OK”. Assembly was pretty easy. It took me longer than 15 minutes per stool but it wasn’t difficult. The directions warn about not over tightening the bolts to prevent stripping them. However, none of the bolts actually tightened up flush without a little effort- which ultimately cracked the back of 6 of the 8 legs. Now, the crack is underneath the seat and can’t be seen, but I do wonder how this will affect the overall strength of the chairs. Both stools were still a bit wobbly after assembly- but in fairness, I’m not sure my floors are completely level. I purchased these stools primarily for aesthetic purposes to fill in “dead space” at a bar area that has never actually been used for that purpose. I estimate these stools will only be used a few times a year when I have company over and need an extra seat at the kitchen table. They seem comfortable enough, though I didn’t sit on them for long. I wouldn’t be confident of their ability to hold much over 200# (given the wobble and the cracking of the legs while tightening the bolts). I will keep them because, like I said, they are primarily aesthetic and for the cost, they look good in my space. If I needed better quality stools, I would be sending them back. Also, I did not contact customer service- as I’m not interested in the hassle of having to assemble more bar stools even if they replaced them.

These bar stools are easy to assemble , small hic up because my husband did NOT follow instructions ! But even though it was his fault this amazing company understood and seriously looked after and did so immediately , professionally communicating with us and meant what they said , they went out of their way to ensure we were 100% satisfied. The product is made of solid attractive wood , material for the cushions is high quality . They slide under my kitchen Island without marking the floors ( protectors included ) true to dimensions as outlined in description, the seats are comfortable. This is a family run business that look after the customer and offer high quality stuff , reasonably priced . Just buy them !!

Very comfortable and stylish

Do not buy!!! Took about 30 min to put together but I couldn’t screw it in tight enough. Chair was super wiggly - wouldn’t even let my kids sit on it. Called customer service at Nathan James the next day. They answered quickly but only told me to tighten all the screws. So I had my husband do that. Still just as wiggly. Got my dad involved (I was determined) - he pointed out that the ends of the bars did not meet the legs and there was a gap … hence the wiggling.Amazon took the package back and paid for the postage. Do not buy!!!

I had been eyeing these stools for awhile and after I got my new kitchen table and chairs, decided to go for it as they had the same look. They arrived, my husband put them together in no time. They looked beautiful and were really sturdy. However, the more I looked at them, the more I realized it wasn't the same colour as I had ordered. Amazon was great with returning them and sending me a set of replacement stools but once again, not the colour for the description of what I was ordering. I ordered the Grey/Dark Brown - product #21302 but the colour of the item Beige/Light Brown product #21303. So again, I have returned them but I really wanted to love them as they are beautiful stools.Update Spring of 2022. I noticed that they had been out of stock and so thought this might resolve the issue and reordered I once again ordered the grey/brown and once again received what I got the first couple of times. I did decide to keep them this time even though it isn't exactly what I ordered but I love the stools and they still work with the space. So just be cautious of colours when ordering.

These stools are very nice looking (I’ve had multiple complements on them that have likely resulted in friends and neighbors ordering the same ones). The upholstery is easy to wipe, the cushions are thick and comfortable, and they bounce back into shape after someone has sat on the stool for a while. Like any other chair or stool, I recommend tightening the screws every once in a while otherwise the stool will start to wobble a bit. Overall, super nice looking and very comfortable stool. And the price point is super!
