I used this stretch nylon-spandex matte fabric as a backdrop and wrap for newborn photography, and it worked beautifully. The 4-way stretch made it really easy to get a smooth, snug fit around the baby without bunching or wrinkles, which helped create that clean, polished look in the photos. It has just the right amount of give to wrap securely without being too tight or flimsy. The matte finish was a big win—it photographs really well without any glare or shine, and the texture adds a soft, high-end feel to the shots. I also loved that it was wide enough to cover a posing surface or beanbag completely, so I didn’t have to worry about cropping awkward edges. Overall, this fabric made my session go smoother and helped me get beautiful, professional-looking images. Definitely a go-to choice for newborn setups!

I got this fabric to make a couple smaller sportswear pieces, most likely a couple of small compression shorts to wear under my workout wear (like the Nike Pro shorts). The fabric feels like good quality fabric. It has great stretch and recovery and the pink color is super pretty! It is decently thick, though I think you would probably want to use a swimwear lining or power mesh maybe if you're planning on using it for swimwear or a leotard or something along those lines. I haven't sewn with it yet, but I have a lot of experience with fabric and this feels decent and on par for the price.

I am new at learning to sew. With each new material I experiment with, I learn a little more. I have just started to venture away from cotton and so this nylon spandex will be a completely new experience. I am completely new to stretch and knit material, too. I think I will need different needles for the sewing machine. My goal is to eventually design and sew a one piece tank top style bathing suit. This material is perfect for a new suit, thin and stretchy, but not see-through. It is buttery soft and will feel great to wear. I better get to work!

I normally use this type of fabric for tutu panties. I make tutus for professional dancers. This fabric is a bit on the thin side. The finish is on the dull side. he stretch and recovery is good. The color is spot on as far as the listing photos go. It laundered well with no distortion. (I washed on delicate and tumbled dry with no heat.) If I had seen it and felt it first hand I would not have purchased. My biggest complaint is that i received 34.5" not one yard, and it was cut crooked.

This is nice thick spandex knit fabric with great stretch in both directions. It drapes really nicely and is not see-through, even when it’s stretched. It is matte on one side and has a slight sheen on the other side. I will use it with the matte side out to make a yoga top. I have not sewn this fabric up yet, but just from the feel of it and the experience I’ve had with sewing knits, I can tell it will be easy to sew. It is a full 58” wide.

This is awesome! It is actually a four-way stretch, it is thick, and the color is true to the listing photo. I did not find it to be see-through, and it will be perfect for making dance Leos. I'm super excited to find something so nice, I'll definitely be back for more colors!

I am so excited to get this! I make all my own clothes and recently I decided to try to make a swimsuit. This is going to be used for the lining. It has great stretch in both directions and it is thick enough to make me feel secure. I chose a flesh tone color so that it will be nearly invisible from the outside.

Nice mid to light weight spandex fabric. Perfect for undergarments or summer wear.
