Great insight into an inspirational woman using her own words

Truly admirable woman
I read this book in 24hrs which is the fastest I've ever read a book. It essentially tells the story of a woman who lived her life the right way. She is an inspiration to me, even if I'm living in vastly different shoes than she did.

Should be a standard text for everyone
A really good introduction to the woman who could be dubbed as one of the leaders of a change in race relations in America. You can't help being sucked into the unfairness of society.It is suitable to be read by adults and young adults alike and would be interesting to be read in a classroom with teenagers.
