This Camera is AMAZING and yes, It Is HUGE
First of all, when you open the box you will laugh out loud. This camera is HUGE. I have I felt like a character on Mom I Shrunk the Kids, holding it. Now, down to business. It is both a camera and a printer. My first task was to print a picture from my iPhone and the quality of the printed image is astounding. It is 4inch X 4inch - unlike the cute little zink printers. The 4-pass technology is amazing and a joy to watch as it adds one layer over another to create the final laminated print. It is worth the price for just the printer, but it is also a camera, and a HUGE one at that. It is truly unique but the finished product - the photographs, are amazing, and very inexpensive compared to other brands. Pics are about 33cents each with this camera, while 50cents to well over a dollar per print by competitors. Be aware that Kodak also has smaller versions with smaller prints - see the 3 and 2. Consider the image below. It shows the camera with my iPhone beside it and the first photo I printed. I actually love it. Added note. This is a complex printing system and can fail, as can any machine. For added piece of mind, I added the protection plan, which I rarely do, but with this camera it provides extra peace of mind knowing problem or not, I will still have this beautiful camera.

Junk
The printer worked but the camera wouldn’t not take pictures. It was locked up in opening screen. After more research I found it was a common problem. So returned it.

Wasn't what it promised
The ink cartridges ran out very fast and it didn't always work well..but when it did the pictures were really good quality.

This is so cool.
The media could not be loaded. The color is very clear but the camera size is bigger than I thought

This things huge
I was NOT prepared for the size of this thing- there is nothing “mini” about this monster. Photo quality is decent- no better than the other major brand of instant photo cameras. Actually, looking back on it- I should’ve just gotten one of those instead.

Super fun and quality instant camera and printer
The KODAK Mini Shot 4 ERA instant camera and photo printer instantly sparks nostalgia for me. I have such fond Kodak memories from my childhood that I had to try this camera! It arrived in a beautiful package and was super easy to figure out. I immediately plugged it in via usb-c thank you for the usb-c Kodak!)I do have to say that this is not a small device, in fact it is the largest camera I have.. Of course, the prints are 4” x 4” (!) and that defines the core of the photo printer. 4x4 is an amazing print size and larger output than any modern instant camera that I am aware of. Certainly the largest instant that I have. The camera is a very simple device with an oversized button that my grandma couldn’t miss with. The shooting process is easy and very consumer focused. You have one shot, with no memory that I am aware of (still investigating this). Print or lose it, just like the old times! The camera is simple, there is one focal length. They did add a little silvered “mirror” to the front that I assume is for selfies. This is a consumer camera product and I have to admit that I was a little frustrated with “getting the shot” with the built in camera. Turning on the built in “flash” (LED) helped in the inside lighting I was working with. Fortunately, unlike the old days, you see the results on the screen and can reshoot if it is blurry with out committing to the print to see your results. The app was easy to find and download with a scan of the QR code. Once I gave it permission to my photos and set up bluetooth, and with a little fiddling, it paired. There was a few disconnects and reconnects that had to happen, this seems common with bluetooth camera device, unfortunately. The app made it easy to select a phone pic and set up borders, etc.The fun part was the printing and I have to say that this was where the magic was for me. The paper was easy to load. The phone app mirrors the 4 pass Cyan/Yellow/Magenta passes of the photo paper being run through the printer 4 times. It was a really neat touch that really lit up my daughter’s eyes watching it. AND the important part, the print was great! We were really delighted. Being used to more traditional chemical instant paper, I had been skeptical with what looked like regular photo paper when I loaded it. They camera has not additional “ink”. So this was a modern magic to me.All in all, we love this camera/printer. I will say that because of its size and limited camera capabilities, I am far more apt to use it as a printer and shoot with my phone where I can repurpose the shots and edit my shots. That said, it is really nice to go old school on occasion and just shoot any print then pass it to grandma without any real instructions. Even though certain parts (like the size and the camera) have weaknesses, I am giving it 5 stars for the overall package. It is a fun product and the prints are fabulous.
