starting to see some pore size reduction
...which is pretty impressive because I've barely been using it for a week, and nothing's ever worked on my craters before, not glycolic, not peel off masks, except for making them look cleaner. It's not a massive difference but it's enough of a difference to notice! Very encouraged and looking forward to seeing bigger effect on pores with long term use, and I have big issues with redness as well that I'm hoping to address. I think I have seen see some toning happening already, but I'm positive about pore size.Update: yes AA has been helping with my redness a lot. Did not help much with acne, whatever wants to pop up, still pops us, but it helps fade scars, evens my tone out in general and helps with other instances of redness. I switched to a premade bottled 15% serum (with no other actives) that I'm using right now (the performance is noticeably better compared to 10% with solely AA that I also tried, so I think you should have better results with a 15% solution vs 10%). The powder can be a bit challenging to properly dissolve and not recrystallize, it needs to be heated/cooled a certain way to prevent recrystallization, etc. There is some advice on reddit as to how to do this properly - nothing crazy, I just lack time for that at the moment. I still recommend this product as it's a more affordable option, and I plan on purchasing more in the future when I have more time to make my own cosmetics. One of my favorite actives in my rotation.

Great for mixing into homemade skincare.
This Sturelehub Azelaic Acid Powder is a fantastic option if you like to mix your own skincare products. I appreciate that it's a fine, easily mixable powder, which allows me to add it to my moisturizers or other DIY skincare blends. Since I know my skin reacts well to certain ingredients, it's great to have this isolated form that I can control the concentration of and apply directly to my face. While I can’t speak to its clinical effects, I’ve noticed it blends seamlessly without clumping, and it integrates well with my regular skincare routine. The 1 oz size is perfect for my needs, especially when I don’t need a large quantity. For anyone who enjoys customizing their skincare, this is a high-quality and affordable option.

Perfect for homemade exfoliation soap
I love making soap (soft and bar soaps, both) and particularly like playing with exfoliating soaps with unusual ingredients like crushed walnut hulls and coffee grounds. Additionally, I suffer from terrible acne (it runs in my family) with a predisposition to scarring, so having strong soaps to really cleanse the pores is very important to me. This azelic acid is just what I needed for my newest daily-cleanse soap bars, and I love that it comes in a small enough quantity for the little batches of soap I'm making; I don't need industrial quantities, just enough for my own soap consumption. It's a fine powder, easy to stir in during cool-down. Price point seems very fair, especially for such a small quantity and in good, protective packaging.

Azelaic Acid
I have purchased several products from Sturelehub previously and they have all worked out great in my cosmetic formulations. I have been wanting to try azelaic acid for awhile so I purchased it to try. It is used in many anti-aging formulations as well as those for hyperpigmentation and uneven tone. It can also exfoliate the skin to some extent, although not as well as AHA's and BHA's and this property is pH dependent. This product comes in a cute little box with a little scooper for precise measurement/weighing and the bottle is double sealed. Unlike some of their other products that are a bit denser/crystalized, this is a very fine powder and settled a tiny bit to the neck of the bottle. Other products I have ordered from this company have been filled to the very top, although, as I mentioned, they were crystalized/dense forms. The powder is bright white with no visible clumps. I placed a desiccant packet inside to prevent clumping/degradation. I am a big fan of this brand and their products, they have always been very effective in my diy products and they are always a great price.

tricky to dissolve, but it works
i found the best way to dissolve this is to use a generous amount of propylene glycol and use a magnetic stirrer over heat. took a long time but it eventually dissolved. i do feel like its helping my redness a lot too! for sure worth it but definitely not for beginners

Added To Soap Recipe
I made a gentler soap for my face hot process method. Although recipe did not call for azelaic acid I did add a scoop and mixed in before putting into molds. It was a basic tallow recipe with no added essential oils or fragrance. The powder blended well throughout batch. I was able to try in a few days. did not cause any skin irritations. Did not add extra scent to soap. Have not noticed any additional blemish on face after using. Ingredient information on box and bottle. Depending on what using for use directions researched or start with a little bit. Comparable in price, quality and quantity as similar.

Seems good, no skin irritation
This azelaic acid powder seems to be good quality. I've ordered, used, and liked the salicylic acid powder by this seller before and thought I'd give this azelaic acid a try.I use it in a homemade skin lotion blend. I've only used it for a few days, but so far I haven't had any skin irritation or other problems. It mixes well and is much more cost effective than buying tiny bottles of expensive lotions and creams.I can't attest to whether or not this actually lightens skin as I haven't used it for long enough yet.
