Very simple and minimalistic design makes it elegant to display fruits. Definitely made from strong material makes it sturdy, durable and give a nice enhancements to the kitchen. Basket is also large enough to hold variety of fruits.

This fruit bowl is of a fairly large size for this kind of item, being wider than it is tall. The bowl is made entirely of thin metal wire that forms a spiral pattern around the bowl. No other material fills in the gaps between the spiraled rows, which are open to the air. Yes, this would definitely mean that any juices would freely flow wherever, so users may want to use a mat or towel under it just in case. This is purely a home decor aesthetic design choice, and not in any way a flaw of the item. It also is not an unheard of design choice. Therefore, no stars will be minused for it.So long as users know the general design traits of this fruit bowl, and accept it as it is, then I believe this would be a decent choice for a functional kitchen decor item. Plus, it's sturdy on a flat countertop surface, and appears to be reasonably durable, thanks to it's metal wire. 5 out of 5 stars.

It is large and doesn't wobble. I was able to display an entire bag of cuties in this bowl. The wires are all a coated, even, black. No chipping or pealing. My only concern was with shipping- it arrived wrapped in a plastic bag inside an amazon shipping box. It feels less giftable when it comes packed like that. Other than that, no complaints.

This is a rather larger Fruit Bowl that I have come across. I have about 5 bananas, 4 to apples, couple of onions! It looks nice, it is heavier and sturdy. I have this nice set on the large microwave. There is room to fit on the microwave and between the base of the cupboard!I also had this in the refrigerator but I needed more space available, so I put it out on the microwave.Nice looking, quality, spacious.

Unfortunately I didn't think to get a picture of this fruit bowl before I spent a bunch of time straightening it out. There is one small diameter heavy gauge wire ring in the bottom, one large diameter heavy gauge wire ring around the top, and 6 heavy gauge wires that go between the two rings forming pie slices in the bowl. Those pieces all appear fine. The main wire that makes up the basket is one single strand of very light wire. So there were two problems because of that. The first problem is that the wire isn't very stiff so it bends easily and it has lots of bowed spots between the main wires. The second problem is that it was made from a single strand of wire starting at the bottom and ending at the top. So three panels have the small wire very close to the large wire and the other 3 panels have a large gap between the large and small wires. Like I said I spent a fair amount of time straightening individual wires (45 minutes to an hour) and got it to look pretty nice in my opinion. If you look at the pictures closely you can still see the bowing in the thin wires but you should have seen how it looked when I first got it.

Cutest addition to my kitchen. Thought I never needed one but I put all of my fruits in there and it creates the perfect fruit basket asthetic.

This is a great bowl for putting fruit out or storing onions. It can easily hold several pounds of fruit. It feels sturdy and durable and is attractive in its simplicity. It works.

It's hard to know just from photos, but I was impressed when this fruit and vegetable bowl arrived. It is really well made and I expect to be using it for many years. More than that, it's a really good design; not only for the open wire construction allowing free passage of air, but it also has an extra piece on the bottom that lifts the bowl off of the counter so it gets air circulation from the bottom as well.Looks good, well-thought out design, and substantially made. What else could you ask for?
