Orange Crushing It!!!!!!
Where to even begin with this little beast. I have been collecting these little mini/micro amps for a while and from mostly traditional brands like Marshall, Fender, Peavy, etc. and although they look cool and "work" to one extent or another they're typically nothing more than novelty devices...until now. I cannot say enough about this little beast! Yes you can plug in a set of phones and quietly practice. Yes, you can run it without phones and it will blow the jam out of your toes! I'm not kidding, this thing gets LOUD and sounds amazing. It can "bright out" a bit at higher volumes but you also now have the option to come out of the unit In head mode and plug into a cab. I cannot say enough about this little beast!!! If you're on the fence in anyway, forget about it and snag one. Great practice amp, great mini gig amp of you run to a cab, runs on a single 9v or power adapter (not included). I guess I can try to put it this way for those of you who play and can grasp this... since I got this amp a few weeks back, I've been driving my '56 Les Paul Gold Top with P90's exclusively through this little dude and lovin' every second of it!!!

Great little amp!
Great sound out of such a small amp. Lightweight, and I like having an 1/8 inch jack for headphones. I'm still learning, but I can play a lesson on the computer and run its audio through an aux cable through the amp to play along. As for the bonuses, I like the cleaning cloth and especially like the power supply - the battery that came with it was dead, but I was able to plug in the amp and start playing before I got a chance to go get a battery. Like other reviewers have said, while picks are nice, most of us already have plenty of picks - maybe a set or two of strings would be better. Every guitar store I've been in has a bargain bin with sets of strings that they're selling for less than an assortment of picks - I'm sure Austin Bazaar isn't any different.

Great Practice Amp
Exceptional for practicing, great on portability, and a lot louder than I expected. I mainly use this in my bedroom when I'm not in the studio to get some practice in, tone quality is decent and you can accomplish quite a bit with this amp. Worth the buy if you are looking for something that can fit on a desk or are in a shared living space with noise constraints.

Orange Crush mini amp ROCKS.
This is fun little amp that sounds big. Try turning all 3 knobs all the way up and play IRON MAN. Sounds like the recording. The Orange mini Crush dirty (distorted) sound---------- sounds much better than the clean sound. The clean (non-distorted) sound basically does Not Exist. Maybe an external bigger speaker would help on the clean sound. The dirty crunch sound is where this Mini shines. This is a fun practice amp good for the bedroom, deck, or local park.

Without a cab output, this amp is just a paperweight
I bought this amp to use with my Gretsch 2655. I don't have any other guitar to use for comparison and the Broad-Tron pickups may not have high output. That said, with my guitar this amp was almost worthless as shipped. A semi-hollow guitar is louder without any amp than a solid body. So, without any punch coming from the amp, the player will hear mostly the natural sound of the guitar. In a last ditch effort to salvage the amp, I built a cab. I had an old cabinet that I repurposed and bought a SKAR Audio FSX8-4, which is a very efficient 8 inch speaker that is probably for car audio use. But the main thing is that the speaker has a sensitivity of 93.4 dB. That would make it at least 50% louder than the little speaker in the stock cabinet. With an efficient 8" cab speaker this amp isn't concert hall worthy, but at least it good enough for personal practice use. So, thank goodness the engineers at Orange provided a cab output!

Plug it into your cab!
Good bundle and a lot of value in this redesign. The inclusion of the output is huge. This works and sounds similar to a Micro Dark when you plug it into a cab. I heard an Orange rep at NAMM mention that the sound profile is along the lines of the Micro Dark so it piqued my interest. It does have lots of Orange gain that I was missing since I sold my Micro Dark. Serious metal tones from this thing. Similar cleans, too. I always liked the Micro Dark cleans. The Fly 3 is still a better sounding small 3 watt amp but not by much. And the ability to plug this into your cab makes it a better choice if you have a cab. If you dont and just want a small amp, or are a beginner looking for your first amp, then the Fly 3 is a better choice. Or you could own both like I do. They both have specific value. These are not toys. I would have killed for either of these 25 years ago when I started. I'd buy either over the ubiquitous Fender Frontman that gets shoved on every new player.

Fast setup and storage.
Great little amp. You can never go wrong with an Orange. I got this because I rarely get to play guitar anymore so when I do want to play this is perfect to pull out and put away real quick. And sounds great. Plenty of volume for around the house.

Great Purchase
So pleased with this purchase! Came with extremely useful accessories and packaged well. I have to say a big thank you to the seller for helping out with an inquiry. The amp only turns on when the instrument cable is plugged in! Just an FYI for anyone else who had trouble! Love the sound quality and the power this little amp is capable of producing.
