It’s good screen, easy to install, and I changed the home button, everything like original, no issues for use, but compare to original, still have a little different, not smooth as original, but it’s almost the same, when you playing games, you will feel a little different, and it’s acceptable, good value for money , and it also comes with tool kits , and a screen protector, this also a good bonus for the kit.

This screen worked out very well for me. I can’t comment on long term, as I just installed it today. But at present it looks good and performs just as well as my old screen (before I broke it installing a new battery). I switched out the home button for the one from my old screen so I would have fingerprint ID. That went much better than expected. Placement of the new gasket that surrounds and seals the screen was awkward and the gasket could have been of better quality, but it worked. The kit comes with a few tools which are low quality, but since my new battery (different manufacturer) came with an excellent tool kit, I didn’t mind.Overall, a good value for money. If this is your first time opening an iPhone, I’d recommend watching several YouTube videos until you fully understand the process. Then watch the best one again. It is not an easy repair and mistakes can be costly. The screen will break if you pry too hard trying to remove it; some heat helps a lot with this process. And be sure to replace the tiny screws exactly in the holes they came from. They are different lengths and a mistake can damage the circuit board. A magnetic mat, such as the one provided in this kit, is a huge help.I probably spent more than it was worth repairing it, but in the end I got my old phone working again. That felt good and now I have a back-up if my new one breaks.

My iPhone 6s is not a new phone, of course, but it still has life left in it. This replacement screen allowed me to keep in in use, and for our middle school daughter to have a phone to use when she's on the school bus. In short, replacing the cracked screen kept a phone out of the landfill. It was easy to replace following online instructions. The important thing is to keep track of where the screws came from and to put them back in exactly the same place. I drew a diagram of the phone on a piece of scratch paper and put the screws in the corresponding place on the diagram. The seal around the edge of the opening is a little tricky, but you just need to take your time and make sure it lines up with the lip where the screen snaps in. It's optional, but it does give a bit more water protection. I'm happy with this replacement screen.

The screen arrived well packaged with decently simple instructions to follow. Going on YouTube is helpful though. The screen I got was not of good quality. The colors look faded, and pictures look pixelized. This is good enough to use, but nowhere near the original screen.The seller wanted to send another one. I had no patience to replace the screen again! The seller reimbursed in full. I bump the rate to 4 stars because of good service. I can’t judge if I got a lemon or if this is the norm though!

So far, this screen replacement is working fine. Some people have commented on the responsiveness being delayed, but for me that only happened a tiny bit when I put the screen protector on it that was supplied with the screen. When the screen is bare, it seems to respond normal. It’s only been a day, so hopefully it continues to work out. Much cheaper option than buying a new phone, so I’m happy so far. I can’t speak for installing it, my husband did that for me. One little complaint I do have is that the front camera is a little fuzzy compared to before, but not a huge deal for me.

I wanted to like this unit, all the parts being included is a big time saver so I happily paid more then other alternatives but this was poor quality considering I paid more for it. The screen itself size wise is slightly off, it doesn’t fit the case properly so it bows out in one spot slightly. I checked it with a straight edge and the case is straight / square but the screen does not fit properly. Also, not sure if it’s related to the fit or not but the screen functions relatively poorly. I’ve had numerous ghost clicks(taps?) in the lower right portion of the screen, at first I thought the edge of my hand was hitting it, but it’s happened more and more since and my hand hasn't been near it. The accuracy especially while typing on the keyboard has been suspect as well, other screens have performed quite well and this one is just off but I don’t have a good way to test that objectively. I want to think this is just poor quality control but I don’t think I’ll pay extra for a screen again to find that out. The camera and proximity sensor seem to both function as expected.

Lack of instructions? Or did I misplace them? Didn't seem to be any "glue" around perimeter of replacement screen.Seems you need to order new “glue”. And for instructions, they are all over the online space. Check your new screen manufacturer’s website, YouTube and other online fixit sites.Will be doing back camera assembly on my iPhone XR soon. 7/22/2024.
