I bought two long surge protectors almost three decades ago. They were heavy and had eight outlets on each. I wanted to upgrade to something that had the latest features. I chose TROND. Many people, here and on YouTube, gave the product a positive review. So I bought one to see for myself. I'm very happy since buying it. I decided to buy another. What I love is it's small, lightweight, has twelve outlets, and comes with four USB ports. Three are USB-A and one is Type-C. The USB-A I believe are 12 watts and one Type-C is 15 watts. It replaces the older power supply. Also, many phones nowadays don't even come with a power supply, so these surge protectors have them built in. While they're not fast like some want them to be, they do the job, and I'm happy with them. Another thing I love about these, are the size. They're not long like the previous ones I bought, and they're not heavy. These are lightweight and great build. I've had no problems with the surge protectors. I recommend this company.

Just had an insurance claim from an outlet strip that did nothing to keep everything in my living room with an hdmi port from frying. I do not know if this strip will do any better, but it's affordable, higher joule rating, and with the new whole home surge in my breaker panel. I hope it saves me from the hassle of dealing with Allstate. Enough ports, usb and the thing is quite and does not hum like some strips I have tried. Do wish the cord was closer to 10ft for easier placement. 5ft can be limiting.

This is my revised review of the TROND Surge Protector. When I initially received the surge protector, only 3 of the 5 outlets worked. I didn't want the hassle of returning it, so I just made a note in my review that only 3 of the 5 plugs worked. A little over a week later, I received an email from TROND's customer service rep asking if I would like a replacement for this surge protector. I responded... yes, I would. They evidently read my review! In just a few days, I received a new TROND Surge Protector! My original one was a 5 plug protector, but they replaced it with a 7 plug protector! Not only that, but TROND gave me a $5 credit back on my Amazon purchase! Amazing customer service! THANK YOU, TROND! Because of TROND's incredible customer service, I am changing my STAR rating to Excellent! I must say that this is one company that stands behind their products. HIGHLY RATED COMPANY! A+ CUSTOMER SERVICE.... All 7 of the plugs on my replacement surge protector work just fine! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Original Review.... I've only had this power strip for a few days and I started to use it this week. The three USB ports work fine, but only three of five outlets function! Quality control is not apparent with this TROND Surge Protector. It's not worth my time to return it. So.... If you only need 3 working outlets in a surge protector that has 5, then this may be the one you are looking for! (Note: This product was made in China.)

Solid state of the art materials, and built to last.

I thought my old 7-outlet strip would work fine for the six plugs I have in my media cabinet, but it was impossible because of wider plugs and bulky adapters. This strip is mounted nicely inside the cabinet, and because it is flat with well-spaced outlets, I still have six usable outlets left over for future needs, not to mention the USB ports in case they are ever needed. I'm very happy with this purchase!

This was a game changer for me, I work from home so I needed a much more powerful and stable power strip. And I haven't experienced any unstableness with any of my plug ins, especially, my work lap top.
