For the cost, this is a fair copy of a SOG Seal Pup.
I think the knife is a good knife if you want to keep an extra knife in in your vehicle, backpack, tackle box, or tool box. It is 3/4 tang and Seal Pup is full tang. The steel is also different. Sheath is functional, but could be better. Knife is sharp. It costs significantly less than a real Sog Seal Pup. Overall this knife is a good buy.

Pretty darn sharp
The blade comes sharpened and is really sharp. It’s well balanced and feels good in the hand. I bought this to replace another knife which I thought was lost, but I found the lost knife the next day, as is usually the case. The knife it was to replace is a Gerber survival knife and is better than this one but it costs about twice as much. This one is a good backup for the money and I don’t worry about losing it. I might keep it in the car as the last one ( a really fine Japanese folding knife with a beautiful walnut burl grip) got stolen at the car wash.

Fine for the price.
Feels and looks like a $og. Steel unknown. Long haul durability unknown. Reasonably sharp, but needs a bit of work. Sheath adequate at best. May be one of those knives that will perform surprisingly well over time... or not. So far, so good.

Bug out or hiking knife
Good cheap seal pup copy. Sharp enough. Rugged enough. Looks great.

Knife is ok
The knife is ok for the price but the sheath is terrible.

GREAT Knife for the Price!!!!!
Knife arrived today, New in the box and Sharp. It is size and weight comparable with the SOG seal Pup. The handle has a bit more grip than the Seal Pup due to the rubber texture. I am not in love with the Sheath but I will replace that. For the price it's worth it. All in all if you are just looking for a budget knife for Camping etc., then this is IT. It's affordable. I am a SOG guy. I own the Pup and Full size Seal Elite. I bought this because I am admittedly a Hugh bear Grylls Fan. I will find a use for it. I say get it while it's on sale. It's 12.99 as of today.

Not Great
The blade itself is okay, but the handle is made of a musky rubbery material that bends and flexes in your hand. It may or may not be the sort of rubberized material that degrades into a tacky mess over time. It feels like it is, but I'm not sure yet. The tang doesn't even go entirely through the rubbery handle, so the bottom inch or so of the handle wiggles around in your hand as you use it. If the handle were made out of a rigid material, this knife would work fine, but made out of this rubbery bendy stuff that it is, it's not a great knife.

Goog knife. Good Value.
Straight up just a good tool for the money. Solid and very comfortable. Nice sheath. Easy to carry.

This knife feels good in the hand. It's very sharp and I would have no issues recommending this to a day hiker or weekender back packer. Sadly I don't know what steel it is but just carry a sharpener with you. I just processed a large cut of meat with it, chopped 7 boxes and it's still very sharp. I personally think it's a good deal

I got this knife on sale for $15 and that's the main reason for the positive review. For a $15 knife, it's decent enough. You can beat it up and, if it breaks, you're not out of a lot of money. 2 stars for the price, 2 stars for the knife itself. Most people will have recognized it as a clone of the SOG SEAL Pup. But while it looks like a SEAL Pup, it's much more cheaply made. I won't even hazard a guess at what kind of cheap steel they used. The tip is blunt and you can tap your finger on it and feel nothing. On a real SEAL Pup, doing that would leave your finger bloody. The edge is reasonably sharp out of the box, but the edge is sharpened at a very wide angle. This is probably necessary to make it more robust given the cheaper steel, but it will blunt very quickly. The blade is also a lot thinner than the SOG's blade. The finger groove is a lot wider than on a real SEAL Pup, which takes away even more edge from an already short blade. On the real SOG knife, the handle is made of glass-reinforced nylon, which is nearly indestructible. The handle on this clone is made of a soft rubber; so soft that you can twist it around the tang, which thankfully, seems to run the length of the handle. The soft rubber is more comfortable, but it won't last as long as GRN. One advantage of being so cheaply made is that it's very light, so you can afford to carry it as a backup for your good, bigger knife without feeling overloaded. So, ignore the superficial similarities, you're not getting a great deal on a SOG Seal Pup, you're getting a cheap imitation. Just don't try to pass it off as a real SOG knife. Those who know SOG knives will see right through it and those who don't know SOG knives won't know that they're supposed to be impressed. ;) That said, if you get it on sale, like I did, it's fine for a beater-upper that can spare your good knife the messier jobs. Just don't rely on this for survival and don't expect it to outlive you and get passed on to your grandchildren.

Good knife to teach my kids some survival skills.

Not bad for what I paid for C$ 12.99, it's smaller than expected though.

This is a sturdy survival knife that fits well in the hand but it’s a little dull however can be sharpened and makes a great backup knife to have despite the less than adequate sheath.
