The smell is great, not powdery or perfumey. I bought this to add a custom label to it for my son at Christmas, and the label that comes on it peeled away clean without leaving residue. The opposite side of the label it comes with is blank, so I didn't have to remove it, but chose to and I put the original label on the outside of the box it came in. The black jar has a satin finish.

I thought this might be a little stronger but really it's perfect. It definitely smells like an old leather coat. I wish the throw was a little larger but I'm not going to complain. I feel like it is good for the money. Like supporting a small business

Arrived on time, smells great

Some call me a daddy, but I don't know. I can tell you my favorite candle is "leather" from Malin-Goetz but I didn't have $60 to burn on a candle. I started searching for leather-scented candles and ran across Wax and Wit's "leather jacket" and thought, "Why not for $20?" I was not disappointed. The scent is perfectly leather. More so than my other favorite. This genuinely smells like an old leather jacket my dad had. Weird. Thanks, y'all for being so affordable. The throw is moderate for a candle of this size. I literally have burned it every morning for the past two weeks or so and it's still burning strong, so it definitely has a long burn time and doesn't tunnel. I would definitely buy this one again and look forward to trying some of the other scents plus I think they are small a business, which I like supporting.

If you like your candles to be so over powering you throw up, then this is 100% for you.Men if your buying this to have a lady over make sure she isn't prone to migrains because that's exactly what it's going to do.

It did not come in the same box as the picture. Amazing smell that brings relaxation.

Amazing lasting scent. Not overpowering. Has a really nice cabin in the woods feeling to it. Hard to describe but it’s not overly sweet that leaves the room smelling great hours after you blow it out. Also love the fact that is burns much slower than a lot of cheaper alternatives.

The packaging was great, no breakage, the delivery was quick, and the candle itself looks great. The only potentially negative thing is that the candles scent is only readily discernable when you're within 2-3 feet of the candle. While the scent itself is nice, I prefer my scented candles to scent up the room. This one doesn't. For those of you that like a lighter scented candle, this might be perfect.

Smells fine I guess, pretty basic quality. Nothing special.

I burned the candle for maybe 20 minutes and my entire bedroom has been coated with this overpowering nauseating smell that won’t go away after two days. I’ve never had a migraine from smell until now, and I’ve never had migraines this bad. The nausea won’t stop and I can barely get up to shower or go out or find a way to remove the scent. Extremely strong rotten burnt spice smell everywhere.
