Our full length bed wedge is perfectly designed to alleviate the symptoms of acid reflux, GERD, hiatal hernia, heartburn and chest pain. The mattress tilter helps to lift your existing mattress at a slight angle to ensure your head is above your torso. Available in various sizes, the gentle slope will help to minimise sleep disruption and provide relief from the symptoms of various uncomfortable conditions. We advise that your wedge mattress tilter is placed underneath your existing mattress, which is then placed on top. Wedge is 7" at the back, sloping to 1" at the foot. Sold with removable, zipped, washable cotton cover. Disclaimer: This product is only suitable for beds with a foot-board. Please Note: Our bed wedge is supplied in two pieces, which can then be inserted into the cover. This will not impact performance in any way. The measurements provided are based on standard UK bed dimensions, we recommend that you measure your bed before purchasing to ensure that they will fit. Subject to high demand this product currently has a 3-4 day added lead time. Please Note: There is a heavy duty goods shipping surcharge of £10 on this item.

Determined to make this work - didn't.
I wanted this to work because I wanted to elevate the head of my bed and bricks wouldn't do because I have a heavy iron bed.I've used this for a couple of years now, and I think it contributed to the break down of my new mattress because it is so firm and placing a mattress on a solid surface does nothing for it and may actually harm it.I recently got rid of my topper because it was too soft and removed this at the same time because I'd been sliding down the bed each night for over two years, finding myself bracing my feet at the end of the bed when I awoke. The mattress that I thought was too hard was heavenly without both. Then, I decided to add this back in while reducing the drop so I wouldn't slide (by cutting it off 60cm so that the smallest bit reduced below my knee and the difference wouldn't affect my body) and the bed went back to being uncomfortably hard, and I was still sliding down the bed in the night. Was so fed up last night that I got up in the middle of the night and ripped it off the bed. I had my comfortable bed back. You're mileage may vary. You may love very firm mattresses and/or you may have the money to throw away on a new mattress every few years. As for me, It's finally going in the bin where it belongs, and I've accepted that I wasted a load of money and too many uncomfortable nights.I will go back to not eating 3 hours before bedtime (better for the body anyway) and get a memory wedge for the top of the bed if I decide I need one.
