I enjoy cooking and I'm trying to encourage my daughter to be more hands on and join in preparing meals.My own knives are very sharp so it was useful to have some alternative that are 'safer' and also her own. Although plastic they are still sharp enough to cut through salad items and softer vegetables, they worked well when cutting peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes.They are still fairly sharp so supervision still needed. Overall, pretty good value all things considered.
