Meguiar's Ultimate All Wheel Cleaner Iron Remover, 709 ml

Wasn’t sure I wanted to pay so much for a wheel cleaner but after reading the reviews I gave it a try. Used on very dirty wheels after a long winter and was very pleased with the results.I did use more than I wanted to as the wheels were covered in dirt and brake dust. Left for a couple of minutes as described and used a soft brush to remove the worst. The wheels turned purple when the cleaner works and then washes off easily. Excellent results showed they come up like new after a quick wash with a soapy sponge. Very easy to use and works quickly with great results. Hopefully I can use less next time as I was a bit trigger happy which will work out expensive. Would definitely buy again as results are very good.

I sprayed this stuff on, and within seconds my alloys looked like they were starring in a crime thriller. My wheels looked showroom-fresh, like they’d just rolled out of a Fast & Furious montage. No scrubbing needed unless your wheels have been through war (or you live near a volcano). It’s safe on finishes too — no sketchy residue or dulling effects. Just shiny, smug-looking rims that scream, “Yes, I care about my car. And yes, I probably moisturise too.” The only downside? I now stare at my wheels more than the road. Use with caution if you have a tendency to become obsessed with shiny things. If you’re tired of weak cleaners that just whisper at your brake dust, this one shouts, “You have 10 seconds to vacate the premises.” Worth every penny.

This is clearly a product that does what it says on the tin and does this especially well considering it's 'acid-free' credentials. I was using this on some very neglected alloy wheels on a 17 year old car - about as tough a test as I could throw at the wheel cleaner. The front wheels especially where almost black in places. The product did all it could on the first application pretty much - after the first spray, a 5-minute wait, some scrubbing with a non abrasive cleaning pad and a pressure wash to rinse off, about 60% of the black brake dust was gone, and the alloy wheel that was restored underneath was gleaming. Very good I thought, let's give it another go. However, it's as if this first application revealed a more stubborn embedded layer of brake dust underneath in some places. No amount of repeated applications or scrubbing would touch this stuff at all. I was about to give up and say to myself 'oh well, it's much better than it was' but curiosity got the better of me and rummaging through the under-sink cupboard I found a can of oven cleaner - Nilco Oven & Grill & BBQ Cleaner (available from Amazon). Now let's be clear - this is nasty potent stuff that undoubtedly contains acid of some sort and is quite clear when you look on the back that it's not suitable for use on some metals, including aluminium. Had I been more precious about the state of the wheels and not been trying to tart up a 17-year old banger as best I could, I would not have touched this with a barge pole... but I'm glad I did! A quick spray of this stuff and bit of working in/agitation with a stiff brush, and the remaining brake dust just fell off the wheels. They are now spotless (apart from the odd chip). There doesn't seem to be any adverse effects on the wheels as far as I can tell - the oven cleaner was on each wheel less than 2 minutes before being rinsed off to avoid it eating away at anything beyond the brake dust!

Brilliant cleaning power - it looked like it stripped my wheels of 3 years of grime! Quite amazing really, and a nice touch by the manufacturer to show it "bleeding" red. I wouldn't use it at every weekly wash as it'll become quite expensive, but once a month or so seems the best balance. I sprayed quite a lot on each wheel, and I don't have a pressure washer, so I rinsed it off by hand. It made my brake discs "sticky" and they felt rough the first few times I used the brakes after washing my car. I think a pressure wash would clean the residue off the discs to avoid this happening. Time to buy a Karcher! Update 5th August 2020: Bought a 2nd bottle of this now. I stopped using it for a while and switched to an All Purpose Cleaner (non-abrasive of course) and while it helped shift some grime, nothing could top the Meguiars spray - it strips away dirt so easily. Some tips: 1. I don't have a pressure washer, but do have a garden hose which on its "jet" setting does a good enough job at spraying off the red residue. Also stops my brake discs becoming sticky like I mentioned in my original review above. 2. Spray liberally but use a soft detailing brush to lather it up a bit and spread it into every part of your alloy. This stuff is expensive to use frequently, so make sure you get the most cleaning out of it by spreading it all over the alloy with a small brush - the effort is worth it.

Expensive outlay but honestly worth it. This takes all the effort out of cleaning your alloys. Spray it on. Agitate it lightly just to ensure good coverage on the alloy. Go relax for 5mins whilst the foam turns purple then jetwash off. Sparkly wheels. I use it on both silver and black alloys and both come up a treat with no effort. You do need the jet wash though. It doesn’t work if you just rinse with a standard hosepipe. There are YouTube videos about this product and they are a true representation of the results you can expect. As for the expense, I got around eight washes (32 wheels) out of my bottle so actually pretty good value per wash. I’m a convert and won’t be going back to any other wheel cleaning product.

Funciona bien

Molto piu3 facile e veloce da applicare rispetto alla cera solida. Non lascia vistosi residui bianchi come altre cere. E' molto liquida, per applicazione sulle parti verticali la spruzzo sul panno, anziché sulla carrozzeria. Si risparmia tantissimo tempo e i risultati sono eccezionali. Ho cambiato tante cere, sempre di alto livello, ora non cambierò più.

Dit product gebruik ik al jaren. Icm een goede velgenborstel, heb je een een goede combinatie. Velgen worden echt goed schoon
