I use music notes to learn piano, so i was hoping to find something similar for otamatone, and this was just the perfect solution. It fits only on the original one so be careful not to use for the other size. I applied some free stickers that came on the sheet too. Very cute!!

We got my kiddo an Otamatone as a birthday gift, and I was looking for something that would help her learn to play. These stickers are not just functional, they are very cute. She loved them, and said that even if she didn't have the Otamatone, she would be happy with them because they are so cute. They are sized just right to fit on the neck of the Otamatone to help you know where the notes are, so you can learn quicker. A very good purchase if you have an Otamatone.

I have had one for more than a year and still struggle to play it intuitively. My musically talented grandchildren figured it out right away, but I’m hoping these stickers will come to my aid. The only drawback is that this product is somewhat expensive for a single sheet of stickers.

This sheet of stickers is meant to fit the regular Otamatone size. It shows the finger placements for three scales/ranges -- low, mid, and high. The graphics are cute and friendly Kawaii style, that matches the look and feel of the Otamatone and Japanese graphic novels and stationery. My sibling plays several instruments including piano and guitar and he was very impressed with the accuracy that the stickers have on the Otamatone. I hope the company will offer more of these, and similar stickers for the deluxe/large size Otamatones.

My son was able to apply these stickers to his Otamatone on his own without any issues. We then tested the placement of the notes with a chromatic tuner. It was dead on! Knowing where to put your finger to play a specific note is a huge help when learning to play songs. This simple modification is the best thing you can do to help elevate the Otamatone from a toy to an instrument in a kid's mind. I highly recommend it!

We've had an Otamatone for a few months now, and while my young violinist adapted and was playing real tunes immediately, I found it very challenging. The notes are not evenly spaced and maybe I'm just not much of a musician, but it was hard! On the other hand, it clicked very quickly with the sticker for reference. So for those of us who are a little too "in our heads" and not so great at playing by ear and feel, this is a nice little crutch. I didn't get the sticker on as smoothly as I would have liked, but I suppose that's user error and can't be blamed on the sticker! My only other concern is the value for what you receive. This is a single sticker that yes, makes the Otamatone more playable, but is still ... just a sticker. (Okay, you also get a few decorative stickers.) That's where the fifth star was lost though.
