Great PretendersHooded Bat Cape, Medium Dress-Up Play

We ordered and returned 2 of these cape kits as both arrived with the correct label and description, but had the wrong item in the bag. Both orders had a dragon cape in the sealed bag instead of Batman. It appears these were miss packaged from the manufacture.

I got this for my daycare boys 4th birthday. He wanted to be a bat for Halloween, and this fits him perfectly. As other customers stated, but bat logo on the back is off-center. But, again, it's for a 4 year old. He doesn't care. The Velcro strap is easy enough for him to put it on and take it off himself. The cape is thick and feels sturdy.

I am really impressed with the quality of this cape. It's so much better than what you would get in a Halloween costume, or what I saw in the stores. It's a nice substantial velvety material with a good quality padded hood that stays up and falls in the right place, even on my 3 year old's small head. The hood can be worn up or down (falls back out of the way like a hoodie). This is good enough to stand up to toddler play every day, and would also make a better Halloween costume - with just the addition of a shirt and black pants, maybe a belt - than a full costume set.

Perfect for my preschooler who wanted to dress as a bat for Halloween. He did not want to dress as Batman, but as a bat. Rather than the actual animal, this cape was what he really wanted and everyone who saw him understood he was either a bat or Batman. Good quality with good ears, fastener, and softness for the young ones.

This cape is wonderful. I am so pleased with the quality. We looked at flimsy Halloween costumes that cost more than this cape, and I couldn't spend the money knowing they would never hold up. I came home and typed in batman costumes and I ordered this ASAP. My four year old loves it. It is obvious by the quality that my 11 month old son will also get to enjoy it in a couple years. I will without a doubt be purchasing more Creative Education products.

I bought this for my toddler who thinks batman is the bee's knees. She's 18 months old and this fits her pretty well. It's pretty durable, and I could see it lasting for a few years. I kind of wish it came in my size, although my husband reminded me that people like me are the reason they don't make such capes in adult sizes. Haters gonna hate, I guess. I'd wear it everywhere.

Love it- all except the Velcro closure under the chin. After a few times it was worn - the Velcro no longer stuck. The makers need to remember who the client is that is wearing this product - an energetic boy that is running, running, running with this and it needs to be able to stay on. (Obviously not so strong that it could choke the child by not breaking away if necessary)

My grade school son wanted to be a bat for Halloween but not Batman. This was a difficult undertaking as most Halloween costumes involving bats for kids are almost entirely either Batman outfits or little bats for infants/toddlers. Then I stumbled across this cape, and it was perfect at the right price. My son still plays with it well past Halloween.

Very good product - a bit expensive for a run around the house cape for me, but was very pleased with quality and size when it arrived - my little boy will hopefully get years out of this. So, quite a good investment after all! Would absolutely recommend. Good quality cape and hours of fun for our alter ego boy 'Batty'.:)

My Granddaughter loved it she had hours of fun playing super heros and it was well made and arrived on time.
