It was ok. A little runny for my liking but still cleaned well. I just like the thicker that clings to the walls.

I decided to try this Amazon Basics toilet cleaner because the price for a 2 pack was way better than the name brands I usually buy at the store. The fresh scent is realy nice and it definitely helps make the bathroom smell better after a deep clean. I like the angled neck on the bottle too because it makes it much easyer to get the bleach liquid up under the rim where all the gross stuff hides. My only complaint is that the cling action formula isnt as thick as I hoped it would be. It is a litle bit watery so it runs down into the water pretty fast instead of sticking to the sides for a long time. You have to work quickly with the brush or use a bit more product than usual to get it to stay put. Overall it still gets the job done and leaves the porcelain looking sparkly and white for a good price.

I'm not one to shy away from generic/alternate formulations of products. I also like many Amazon Basics products for the no-frills value it provides. But after trying this Amazon Basics one it seems like Lysol and Clorox are the ones that work well. The scent on this one is hardly there, and it fails to clean my toilet much at all. It's very runny and doesn't cling like the name brand products. At this price point, it's barely cheaper than Lysol or Clorox, so there isn't much incentive to use this.

I love this cleaner I would buy it again and again. I normally buy Clorox or Lysol. This product is super thick and clings to the sides of the toilet better than the other two and is a great price.

I live in an area that has very hard water and leaves stains on the waterline of my toilet often. Additionally, I have a fondness for taco bell and have found that there is sometimes explosively painted biological waste that will cling to the walls of my toilet. With the right toilet brush (do not recommend using personal toothbrush), these toilet bowl cleaner is effective at reducing the unsightly stains and biological material buildup prior to guests visiting. Id leave before and after photos for scientific purposes, but I am pretty sure they would just get removed. Use your imagination, I believe in you. I should also offer that this doesnt smell super strong and you can speed clean your bathroom as people are knocking on your door and it wont give you away that you are comfortable living in your own filth like so many bachelors I know these days.

Im gonna give this a 3 but only because it does not cling. Its VERY watery. Be very careful when using this because it will shoot out of the spout instantly, splashing onto anything in its path. Watch your clothes or anything else you dont want getting bleached. It says it compares to another popular name brand but it doesn't. Whay works for me is the cling, thats what really feels cleanest to me and gets the grime of a toilet. This works but you have to work harder because the product is so thin, it just sprays right into the water. Its just not my preference but I did enjoy the price point. I prob wouldnt buy this again. I hope they soon come out with a clinging option!
