Great practice "eye on the ball"
The media could not be loaded. My grandson is 7. He loves this so much. I'm sorry he wanted me to record him in slow motion. At the very beginning of the video you can see how fast the ball ejects. This comes with 10 balls that are plastic and lightweight enough that they can't really break most things indoors. We have a pretty clear area we can play inside with just moving a few items. The balls do not leave marks on my walls. I think it is best played outside though!!. These balls can really travel!

Not great quality.
My 3 year old is probably closer to a hyena than a typical 3 year old, but he has already broke a few pieces of this. It still works, but the little astronaut pics are plastic plates they pop in. He’s broken those. The curved part where you put the balls in, he’s broken that. But it still pops the balls up.

Nice
This is great at helping with my son’s hand eye coordination. It is a great first step to coming off the tee. The balls are super light, so it’s not exactly the same but it’s still good.

Great for moving from the tee to a thrown ball
This is perfect for developing the skills needed to hit a ball being thrown rather than from a stationary tee. While this pitcher doesn't lob the ball towards the batter, it removes the crutch of the tee and helps build confidence for budding baseball stars.This IS NOT for real baseballs and uses a light ball made specifically for this pitcher. It's super simple to assemble and start using.This looks and feels like a toy which is good in my opinion. Young children will have more confidence hitting from this than from a ball being thrown at them.
