The media could not be loaded. This is my 5th purchase from the Whitin brand. Affordable and not too barefoot with the insert which is how my daughter prefers. For more barefoot feel simply remove insert. I do like how they upgraded their kids model. See video for older model (pink) comparison to newer model (black).Flexible, breathable and great for school! Easy to wipe/wash.One picture and video is after 1.5 month daily use. One picture is first day of school. Holding up well so far, will try their canvas model for kids next.Sizing was easy, and as long as you follow their provided measurements, shoes will fit.In comparison to usual us size their size was one larger. Example: Carter’s shoes we have size 11, Whitin was size 12.Functionality is great, stretch of the material has a good give when putting them on, and had no complaints about comfort! We do wear regular fit socks, not no see socks, so no issues with rubbing in the back, but their older model was softer I the back (pink shoes in the picture). Unfortunately velcro on older model was not sturdy and I had to mend it after a while.

Honestly, these shoes tick all the boxes. They’re relatively inexpensive, have a nice wide toe box, Velcro for ease of putting on for the kiddos, and my kids not only think they look cool but say they are very comfortable. As a mom of 3 boys, our shoes go through a lot. After 6 months of regular use, they still look great. I’m very pleased with them and will be buying more when these inevitably wear out.

These shoes have been working great for our 4 year old. He is able to put them on himself, including getting them on th correct feet. They have a roomy toe box that allows his foot to flex naturally as he runs and plays. They have proven to be durable, as he has used them extensively for park trips, pre-school, and walks through the woods searching for frogs and lizards. They have also proven to be quite resistant to dirt and stains, and are easily cleaned by brushing them off. The soles are stable and provide a lot of grip; he easily climbs up the wrong way in slides at playgrounds. We are very happy with these shoes, and the price is worth the comfort for his feet and the durability.

These are great if you’re looking for wide toe, zero drop but still a thick enough sole for some protection. Not super lightweight as far as barefoot shoes go, but still light compared to regular shoes. Easy for toddlers to get on and off. And seem to be durable-We’ll see though. The top material is not flimsy, and it holds its shape. And can dress up or down.

Wide toe, comfort, true to size. First sneakers child would wear in a while.Con Velcro stopped working well after 2 months so had to buy a new pair.

Fit my sons feet. He feels more comfortable in the wide toe box then traditional toe boxes. The shoe is sturdy and durable, he runs, jumps and plays rough. The shoes have held up wonderfully

I bought these for my three year old son and they have been great! Nice wide toe box and does not make him trip. I've heard other parents experience this and I have not.He is able to slip these on well and has never mentioned any discomfort at all. Very grippy!These are our everyday shoes for him whether it be a nice function or just going to the store, these are our go-to shoes.

These Whitin shoes are such a great, affordable barefoot shoe option for kids! I love the athletic look of them, they’re easy for my kid to get on and off, super grippy, just awesome! The sizing was a nightmare but I finally figured out which size he is after ordering 3 different sizes. I don’t understand how they’re measuring kids feet and making those size recommendations because I measured my kids feet and got the recommended size and they were 4 times too big! Anyway, we figured it out in the end and now we know which size to purchase next. My boy likes these too, would love to see more color options and maybe a lace option too.
