Ahh! How happy I was to be back in Magnolia Falls🥹 thank you so much to Laura Pavlov & Valentines PR for the ARC - will never not appreciate it💖4.5⭐️ So I loved this story so much! The back and forth banter between MMC River & MFC Ruby was so well done!! Love and hate is a fine line and they tread it the whole time, the personal growth they both make ALONGSIDE each other was just beautiful.The way other characters from other books and mentioned and brought in is one of my fave things - the Reynolds lads and the Ride Or Die gang all meet up and it’s such a good time 👏🏼 The group chat & found family element with the Ride & Die was as strong as the last book which I’m so glad of as that’s what is making this series stand out to me as well as our little Beefcake spotlights!! Also I fell a little in love with Kingston in this book I’m so excited for his own story!❤️‍🔥I found it a lot spicier than Laura’s normal work which suited me just fine but I think the angst and tension from strong willed and self sure Ruby and stubborn know it all River makes it all that more explosive!🫶🏼small town🫶🏼should of been a one time thing🫶🏼dislike to lovers“That was the thing about Ruby. Wild River is a fabulous story of full of found family and romantic goodness! Safe to say this is another great addition to Laura Pavlov’s Magnolia Falls series.This book is an enemies to lovers story focused on two people who believe they’re better off alone but ultimately can’t resist the pull to one another.I loved Ruby and River! At the start of this book Ruby is forced to return back to town after her dad falls ill. On her return she is shoved back into the toxic cycle of providing for her adult brothers and mother. In comes River, her father’s lawyer who is instantly intrigued by Ruby and just can’t seem to leave her alone!River was just the most gorgeous mmc. The way he stepped in and helped Ruby’s brothers get on their feet really show cased the kind nature behind the tough guy exterior.Together Ruby and River had scorching chemistry! It’s impossible to pull yourself out of their story once you get started so make sure you’ve got time for a long reading sesh before you get into this one!

I can't recommend this author enough, and her characters are so well-written that I always find myself wishing I could live in the book universe she creates, just so I can befriend them.River and Ruby get off on the wrong foot and become enemies on the surface, while obvious chemistry between the two lingers with every encounter they have.The banter in this book was top tier, making me constantly smile while reading. There were plenty of occasions that I wanted to throw my book while Ruby had to deal with her family members, but when someone finally steps up and takes care of her, it was worth every moment.Wild River can be read as a stand alone, but it's much more enjoyable if you read Loving Romeo first. I can't wait for what's up next in the Magnolia Falls series and will be pre-ordering them all!

4.5✨My heart is in Magnolia Falls! I love it so so much!Ruby finds her way temporally back in Magnolia Falls when her father has some health issues. Ruby is a bad ass who has her guard up because of her past. River is the lawyer who has represented Ruby's father, and she isn't impressed by him like the rest of the town. River has some past trauma and loss that he never delt with..... that is until "Queenie" showed up. They both decided that they will have a "no strings attached" relationship while Ruby is in town to help her dad.I loved the banter between Ruby and River. They were both feisty, fun, and flirty with one another!The group chats between the "Ride or Die" crew and the new girl gang had me laughing. I loved seeing a sprinkle of the Cottonwood Cove crew and Beefcake once again stole the show!

Here’s what I loved about the book:The characters and connections!The strong relationships between the guys and the solid friendships the girls develop in this book are so amazing. The ROD group chat is one of my favorite things ever. Lol Similarly I was completely enamored by the relationship River has with his brother King and look forward to more of King’s story.The sparks between River and Ruby combusted in the best. The spice level in this book was on point. The 60 second play was too much fun!This book embodies the perfect blend of small town charm and sexy boy obsessed goodness. I can’t wait for more of this series!

Where do I even start?? This entire series has been perfection thus far! I thought I couldn’t love another mmc after Romeo but WOW, River blew me out of the park! The way he loved his Queenie 🥺😭 every conversation and interaction was so authentic and raw and real. I can’t get enough of them. I ate up every moment and I am frothing at the mouth for book 3! This series is a must read 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
