Very fine hard chalk when compared to Master chalk that is more clay-ish to this
I usually use Silver Cup chalk. This chalk is a little bit harder and works well plus lasts a very long time. Definitely does not show up on the table cloth like softer chalk does. I used this daily for a month before going back to my Silver Cup standard. During that month, the same piece of chalk showed little use but I chalk before every shot. I bought this chalk for a 2-table room that gets played almost all day long every day, five days a week, with 6 to 8 people on the tables all that time. Very little chalk is showing up on the tables now. I play with a $25 very soft tip. Virtually all the others play with hard leather tips. We all rarely miss-cue and we usually get the spin we anticipate when needed. Most of us, most of the time, keep the cue tip center of cue ball.

Started using NTC about 15 years ago
I shoot with an Elk Master tip. A lot of chalk brands (like Masters) don't stick to soft tips very well. This NTC chalk cakes on the tip like Tammy Faye's makeup--just the way I want it. Can't remember the last time I miscued.

Good chalk, good price
The local youth center for 13 to 18 yos goes through a lot of chalk. Not all of it makes it on to cue tips. This is good chalk and at this price it is affordable.

Just what it's supposed to be
First time trying it. I like it, but not really good enough of a player to say it helped my game or not :)

Perfect red
This chalk matches my felt perfectly. I don't have to worry about ugly chalk marks all over my pool table as they easily blend right in.
