Excellent Quality and Best Price
I wrote this review myself and then had chatgpt tweak it for grammar and readability. This is not a paid review—I purchased the GTPlayer simulator for full price, around $300, in December 2024. Overall, it was straightforward to assemble in a couple of hours with two people taking their time. While it can be assembled by one person, I recommend having two for convenience. All the parts were included, which was a pleasant surprise. One trick I’ve learned over the years is to not tighten any bolts or screws until it’s fully assembled so that it’s easy to align holes and tubing etc during assembly. The steel tubing used for the frame is impressively heavy-duty. It’s rated for 500 pounds, and it felt solid and stable with my 5’8”, 300-pound frame sitting in it. The seat is big enough, even for my wide load, and sits more than a foot off the floor, so getting in and out shouldn’t be an issue for most people. Installing my Logitech G920 steering wheel, foot pedals, and shifter was a breeze. The holes on the mounting plates lined up perfectly, so no drilling was required. Another unexpected bonus was that the simulator comes with 6 wheels. I had assumed I’d need to buy them separately. The wheels roll smoothly on my thick carpet, though they aren’t quite easy enough for my five-year-old grandson to move the simulator without some effort. On a hardwood floor, it would roll effortlessly. I believe the whole simulator with all the Logitech stuff weighs well over a hundred pounds. The seat is very high quality and slides back and forward for different player heights. With the seat all the way forward and the pedals mounted as far back as possible, my grandson can comfortably reach the pedals. On the other hand, with the seat fully back, it fits me perfectly at 5’8”. I don’t have anyone taller at home to test it, but I imagine it would accommodate taller individuals if you mounted the pedals farther forward. If you buy pedal extenders I think it would be useable for both young kids and tall adults. I haven’t tested the Bluetooth speakers yet, but based on their size, I wouldn’t expect much bass. They’re likely comparable to other small speakers, so don’t expect deep, booming sound. Overall I don’t think you could find a better quality simulator for anywhere near this price and I would highly recommend it.

Perfect rig for the price. Id buy again
Honestly for the price, I cant complain. Came in just about a week after ordering, both packages had all the hardware and parts. One of my mounts looks like it got hit in the warehouse or something but hey I dont really care that much. The leather on the chair and pillows came in pristine, no rips or stains. Good quality so far. Comfort is great, sturdy but soft. Fully reclines which is insanely comfortable. The built in speakers actually sound pretty good! it surprised me. The hardest part of this whole chair was the shifter mount. You really gotta squeeze it together for the bolts and washers to lock in. Id say if you have an extra set of hands, youll be good. All in all id say it took me just about 2 hours to build. I specifically ordered this one because of its low profile aspect and it fits my 49” ultrawide perfect. no need for a fancy metal cockpit id buy this one again

Once assembled, this is a really nice and sturdy seat.
This is one of the better racing chairs you can get for the money. While installation isn't 1 to 1 on this, it will go together. You will have to pull and move things a bit to get everything to bolt and line up properly. Do not use a rubber mallet. While the metals look strong, one tap from the lightest of mallets will dent it. I chose not to use the wheels. But it does have them and they are pretty nice. The seat is pretty comfortable and has a real car feel to it. Shifter access is full adjustable. You can flip it, reverse it, find what works for you. Overall, very satisfied.

Really nice rig!
Very sturdy. Serious rigidity. Total pain to assemble alone. A little irritating to have separate boxes arrive many days apart but, this is so worth the wait.

Was skeptical, but is great!
UPDATE: I added this to a list awhile ago and kept watching build videos and after flipping a coin, about a dozen times, I decided to give this cockpit a try! It went together really easy, no issues on any of the bolt hole lining up. The instructions were clear, but some of the pictures were a lil small but that’s my old eyes starting to fail!😂🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ The seat is actually not that bad! I’m only 5’8”(68”s) tall and I’m down to a slim 155pounds and I’m swimming in this! Not a bad thing, I was worried it was gonna be tight or not as versatile for larger drivers. I honestly didn’t think I would use either of the pillows but I am, and they are almost perfect! The included shifter stand is solid and I don’t feel like I’m going to have any issues banging virtual gears! I put the included blue tooth receiver on the included type C charger and had zero issues connecting, and the sound is actually good! The adjustability is great! My four year old grandson needed a booster seat so he could see over the wheel but with the seat pushed forward, he could easily reach the pedals! The only thing I noticed on the frame that could use a lil attention is the paint. It’s pretty thin in a couple spot but none of them are visible once built! It took me approximately 1 and a half hours to completely build! The seat slider was pre installed, huge relief for that even though the build videos showed everyone struggling! Would I buy this again, absolutely! As far as the flex, I haven’t noticed anything but I only have a Logitech G29 and stick wheel and pedals. The material seems strong and the foot mount has multiple positions and this as well seems very durable! I wouldn’t be scared to purchase a strong DD wheel base but that isn’t in the budget at the moment! I am going to replace the leveling feet with caster wheels so it makes it easier to move! Update: I added 6 caster wheels I found on Amazon with the 8m x 1.25 thread and it is amazing how easy it is to move around on my hardwood floors and even though my floors are terribly worn and need refinished, I have not made any new scuffs! Woo hoo!! I also replaced the Velcro straps with Yellow ones I found on Amazon along with wire loom(1/2”) so I don’t worry about rolling over my cables! I did have to shave off some of the shifter mount so my middle caster could spin and roll freely but that might not be needed depending on where yours is located! I spent approximately 5 straight hours ripping, with an occasional restroom break, and the seat was never an issue. I would love to see GTPlayer offer a single monitor stand and maybe a butt kicker mount! After a couple months, I’ve had to use a seat cushion as after driving for a couple hours it does start to hurt my butt! Nothing to terrible and it’s not anything that would cause me to not purchase this or recommend this rig. I also noticed that after adding the caster wheels, a couple of them needed to be straighten as it seems the thin metal was weak. It might have been self inflicted as I had to retighten the caster wheels. The rig is still sturdy and I still don’t get any flex with the Logitech g923. Again, when they offer the $50 coupon, this is still worth $300! I’ll post an update after I log some more time in this!
