ULTRALOQ U-Bolt Pro WiFi Fingerprint Smart Lock with Handle, Remote Access

I absolutely love Ultraloq! This is a welcome addition to my smart home. i consider this one of the best options out there. I plan on buying them for every door. Works seamlessly with Alexa. I can lock and unlock anytime I want, at home or away. The app is nice and reliable. it lets me know who unlocks the door. My favorite feature is that it automatically detects when I come home and unlocks the door for a brief period for me to enter. Makes taking groceries in a breeze. No keys required, just your phone. If you don't have your phone, you can input your code on a lit keypad or use your fingerprint. Easy to install, looks good and works great. Oh yeah, probably a feature you didn't know you need: it takes four AA batteries. Some locks require charging via usb-c port. Very inconvenient. Ultraloq is ahead of the game in every way. I did my research and landed on this. This is their premium model. If you think it's expensive(it isn't), you can opt for a lower model and I can guarantee you will be happy.

5 stars for support and the lock itself. I ordered the bundle that came with the door handle as I wanted both changed and to match. The smart lock itself and app are good quality, easy enough to setup and work as intended. My issue was with the door handle. Both my wife and 9 y/o daughter kept getting stuck in/out of the house because the inner handle mechanism didn’t always retract the latch. Rather than leave a bad review in order to get it fixed, I just contacted them on their website. Had to send a copy of the receipt/invoice and a short video showing the problem. They quickly had a new handle sent and I had it installed within 3 days of contacting them. Great customer support. And a great lock!

Love the features of this lock; especially the auto unlock. System worked great for almost 2 years and then decided to hardly work at all. Fortunately the company (now XThings) worked with me and replaced the inner and outer parts and it's up and working like it should. Customer support (Savy) was awesome. Only issue is that the wifi connection is for 2.4Ghz and wouldn't work with Optimum (5Ghz); Bluetooth worked fine though. I'll give a shout out to Visible Home Internet (2.4Ghz and so much cheaper) for making the lock's connection even smoother. I would definitely buy again.

I've been using the U-Bolt Pro for over 2 years, it has worked flawlessly without any issues. Last week it stopped working for reasons unknown so I called tech support. After unsuccessfully walking me through some recovery steps, they instructed me to submit a claim, and even though the lock was out of warranty they promptly approved my claim and replaced the lock. I'm pleased with the great customer service and how they stand by their products.

The smart lock itself seems too be working great. We've only had it for about two weeks so far, with minimal use, as we haven't moved in yet. Today when trying to leave, the door knob would no longer turn. It was not locked, as the doorknob itself doesn't have a lock. It simply would no longer turn. We had to take it off the door and pry out the latch to be able to leave. I would not recommend buying this version with the door knob. Unless you enjoy spontaneous escape room experiences. *update: returned. We tried to get help from the company but they didn't offer a solution. They asked for the serial number, etc. multiple times despite us giving them all the information. We went round and round and then gave up and ordered something else.

This is the second unit I purchased, I have 2 entry doors on the front side of my house, one front and one side. I bought the first one a few months back to try and it has preformed well, although sometimes it doesn’t unlock automatically when I get home as it should. The unit itself is well built and easy to install. The fingerprint key was super easy to setup and only took a few minutes. Battery life is exceptional and doesn’t require frequent changes. I am currently using lithium rechargeable batteries and they have preformed well so far. Overall I am quite pleased with this door locks and would recommend them.

Purchased the U-Bolt Pro WiFi smart lock on September 23, 2025, and was initially excited about the features and security. However, I am extremely disappointed with the battery performance. In less than three weeks, the lock is already showing a low battery warning, which is completely unacceptable for a device in this price range and category. Battery Life Issues Despite claims of 3-6 months of battery life (or even longer under normal conditions), my experience has been drastically different. Many other users have reported similar battery drain problems, with some seeing batteries last only weeks or even days, particularly with WiFi enabled. It’s clear there is a widespread issue, and even the manufacturer’s forums are filled with complaints about rapid battery depletion. Disappointing for Smart Home Use Part of the appeal of a WiFi-connected smart lock is the convenience, but having to replace AA batteries this frequently defeats the purpose. The lock is supposed to provide security and simplicity, not become another maintenance headache. Even though the app warns about low battery, getting this alert so soon after installation is highly frustrating. Summary: Would not recommend this lock if strong battery life is important. Look elsewhere until/if the severe battery drain issue is addressed by the manufacturer. For a device installed for less than a month to already need new batteries is simply not acceptable

This is such a convenient lock, easy to use, and u-tec’s customer service is truly exceptional. Product review - I bought 3 of these for my new home, one for front door, side door, and garage door. The fingerprint works well, auto-lock with sensor is very accurate and sensitive, and the lock is good quality and looks great. I love that the app is easy to use. You can set up profiles with unique unlock codes, and it keeps a history of who opened the door at what time. Customer service - I’m truly impressed by their customer service. One of my sensors broke off the door frame so I went to look for a replacement on their website. I added the sensor to my shopping cart but didn’t check out. Noticing that I left something in shopping cart, u-tec actually contacted me to see if I have any questions regarding the item. I explained my situation and they ended up sending me a replacement under warranty! They asked me for my order confirmation and made the whole process very easy for me. This is my first time experiencing customer service to the level the provided. I highly recommend this product, and truly so thankful for u-tec’s proactiveness. They know how to make a customer happy!
